Sabrina couldn't bring herself to even look at the marriage certificate.
She and Sebastian had no feelings for each other, or to be precise, Sebastian had no feelings for her. What meaning did a marriage without love have, even if she was now Mrs Ford legally?
Sabrina remained cautious. As she was standing just outside of Sebastian's car, she began to speak calmly." I can return by myself. Thank you for not demanding me to pay the ten million I owe you, and for even marrying me on top of that. You should head back to the company now, I won't be troubling you anymore.”
Kingston was taken aback by Sabrina's words.' Madam, the young master never wanted you to give him back ten million.
'In the future, all his money will be yours! 1
'You are now the richest wife in South City!'
Kingston only said all that in his heart, and did not dare to say it out loud. He turned his attention to Sebastian who had opened his mouth to speak." You're getting ahead of yourself, I never planned on absolving you from the debt you owe me!"
Sabrina was left speechless.
He got into the car before ordering Kingston, "Drive to
the company.
Kingston, who overheard their conversation, was stunned as well but managed to regain his composure.
After a few moments,Kingston drove off, leaving the dazed Sabrina behind with a large marriage certificate in her hands.
Sabrina knew very well that Sebastian would not ask her for the money anymore after they had signed the marriage certificate. After all, he had wanted his daughter to have a complete family. He would not let Aino live the way he did.
He had just said those words in anger.
However, no matter how hard she thought about it, Sabrina could not bring herself to be happy.
She was safe, and Aino had a family, but what about Zayn?
Zayn had given her so much, so did he deserve what had happened to him, forced to disappear overseas like that without a trace?
There was also her mother.
Before, Sabrina could barely make ends meet even on a day to day basis, so she did not have the luxury to think about her mother. Now, even though her mother had already passed away for six years, she couldn't even return to her hometown to even look at her mother's grave.
"Do you hear me calling you mother?
"Next time, why don't I bring Aino, your granddaughter, to come see you?"
Not far away, watching Sabrina's outburst, was Kingston who stood about four rows away from Grace's gravestone.
Back then, when Kingston had been chauffeuring Sebastian away from the city hall, Sebastian had
suddenly ordered Kingston in frustration, "Stop the oar!"
Kingston looked back at Sebastian with a puzzled look on his face. "What is it, Young Master?" 1
"Stop the car!"
Kingston did not dare disobey him. He had stopped the car immediately and watched as Sebastian got off. Kingston hurriedly opened the door to exit the car as well, but was promptly stopped by Sebastian. "Follow her!"
Kingston did not know how to respond.
