He pretended not to hear Aino's stomping, and went straight to the ward with Aino.
"Stinky Bum, where are you taking me? Are you trying to sell me to the orphanage?” Aino asked angrily, but she knew the Stinky Bum would never sell her.
"There’s an old man who wants to see you." Sebastian said truthfully.
An old man? Aino could not think of anyone, and followed Sebastian into the ward.
The ward was very luxurious, and five specialized nurses were inside. Sean Ford and Rose Quinton were also there.
"Father." Sebastian called out when he entered.
When Sean saw Aino, he was stunned. Rose had an ugly expression on her face.
She had three children, but all of them had passed away during their prime, not even leaving behind any grandchildren for her. Instead, it was that bastard child's daughter that was now the remaining descendant of the Ford family. It was incredibly humiliating.
Sebastian was a bastard son, and his daughter was also a bastard daughter.
A look of disdain flashed through Rose’s face, but it
was still caught by Sebastian.
Sean, however, was looking at Aino. He was filled with happiness and emotion.
That child was already five? Only now did she come back to meet her family?
"Baby, come, come over. Come to grandpa, let grandpa look at you." Sean bent down to carry Aino.
Aino ran behind Sebastian, scared. She grabbed Sebastian’s leg with her hands as she looked at her grandfather defensively.
That, she could do! Aino was happy now. She always wanted to call him Father, but she felt bad if she did.
She sweetly said, "Father..."
Sebastian was immediately dazzled. It had been six years! He had waited to hear that for six years! He finally got to hear it. He bent over to carry Aino.
"You two...what are you mumbling over there for?
Sebastian, bring the child over for your grandfather to see!" Rose said sternly.
Sebastian carried Aino In front of Old Master Henry. His tone was calm as he introduced her. "My daughter, Aino Smith." 3
At those words, the three people in the room were stunned. Rose was the first to ask, “Sebastian, what did you say the child's surname was?"
