"Holden." Isadora called out.
She found that it was easier for her to call him Holden, to begin with. Elsa, even more so, did not have much of an opinion on her son's name because her son had been stolen from her before she had the time to name him back then. As long as she was still able to see her child, why did it not matter what her son's name was?
"Holden, my child, wash your hands and let's eat," Elsa gently called out.
"Alright, Mom," Holden said with a smile. H e felt very relieved. From then on, he would no longer have any more worries. He would no longer have those nightmares of being entangled, blackmailed, slandered, and defamed. However, he really had to thank a person, even though that person was the true culprit.
While they were eating, Holden said to his mother, "Mom, I have a request, and I hope you don't blame me for it."
His mother smiled calmly. "My child, I understand. That man and I are not fated, but he is your biological father, after all. If h e didn't step in and testify this time, it wouldn't be that easy for us to deal with the Payne family. So, you should go and thank your father."
Vireo nodded. "Mom, you're the most understanding woman in this world. Don't worry, I will only be going to thank him. I still have a grudge against him, and it's impossible for me to get close to him in this life. That's because he is the culprit and everything started with him." "Mm-hmm." Elsa also nodded. "I'll respect your opinion."
She would not stop her child from getting t o know his biological father. She also would not put her child in a difficult position and force him to admit that the powerful man was his father. It would be best for everything to develop naturally.
"Chloe, I didn't mean to criticize you, but the person who urged everyone to come looking for our brother to drive him to a dead end, and the first person who came u p with the idea was you." The second sister, Ashnah, already started to turn on her own kind.
Immediately after that, the third sister, Abigail, mumbled, "I was the closest to our brother when we were children. We were
similar in age, but our whole family was very hostile to him. We treated him like an outsider, and we were cautious of him as if he was a thief. I was the youngest in the family, so I did whatever you said, and I had no say in everything. I only followed along and did whatever you guys had done. He has such strong support in South City now. Who would have thought that he was really the son of the Ford family in South City? Do you know who the Ford family of South City is? The Ford Group is the strongest company in the country! They are very famous around the world!”
