Sabrina was taken by surprise to hear Sebastian asking for Aino to call him daddy, a bitter smile appeared on her lips, "so, you do consider her as your daughter?"
"I'm not blind!" Sebastian snapped his head back to glare fiercely at Sabrina and turned back to Aino once again, his tone gentle, "say daddy."
"You are not my daddy, you are Stinky Bum! You are the guy my mommy is most afraid of, you..." the five year-old, very creative Aino studied the worsening bruise around Sebastian's eye and blurted out, "you are a half-blind panda!"
"..." For a moment, Sebastian was rendered speechless as to how wild his daughter's imagination went.
Sabrina dragged her daughter into her arms, cupping Aino's cheeks softly and said, "my darling, behave. You don't want to make this man angry, listen to mommy." Unsure of how far Sebastian would be willing to tolerate Aino, it terrified her that he might decide to send her daughter flying at one point. She hadn't a clue as to why Sebastian was trying to get Aino to call him daddy, what she did know was that h e had never ceased sending assassins their way ever since she escaped the South City.
There was one time that one of the assassins told her directly that, "Master Sebastian knows that's his kid i
n your belly, but he still wants you dead. Even if you somehow manage to give birth to that bast*rd child, it's still going to die alongside you. The last thing Sebastian wants is for his legacy to be born the way h e was. The only children he will have must be given birth by his official wife! Any other illegitimate children out there must be eradicated immediately!"
Sabrina had never felt more helpless until that very moment when she heard those words, she was lucky that Zayn made it in time to rescue her from the assassination. With that considered, how could Sabrina possibly believe in the possibility that Sebastian had changed his mind and wanted Aino to call him her father? She didn't know what was going o n in the man's mind, she could only hope that she could at least meet her demise together with her daughter and as for Aino, hopefully it would be a quick painless death.
Aino's eyes were filled with tears of fear but she tried t o keep a brace demeanor regardless when she comforted her mother, "mommy, don't be afraid, Aino i s going to protect mommy, this guy is just a Stinky Bum!" She then turned to scream at Sebastian at the top of her lungs, as if it could scare Sebastian off," Stinky Bum!" 2
"Don't want to call me daddy? If that's the case, we are going to do things according to the scenario where I'm not your father," Sebastian stood slowly and looked over at Sabrina with a cold expression, "this is your chance to speak up, how do you plan on paying the
ten million?"
Sabrina tighten her arms around Aino and stared back into Sebastian's eyes calmly, "I always knew that someday you would catch up to us and eventually I won't be able to escape your attempt at killing us, if I had to run for the rest of my life, I might as well be done with it right here and now. I don't have ten million. Scratch that, I don't even have a million. You have all the money you can spend for this life and more, so it's not like you are after us for the sake of money, right? Whatever it is you want to do, just get o n with it!"
"That's where you are wrong!" Sebastian sneered, "I a m a businessman, and anything that could be resolved with money will be done so if it's up to me. Besides, I'm here asking for compensation in my friend's place. Your daughter has injured someone, and for that, you need to take responsibility and compensate for their loss." i
"I said I don't have any money!" Sabrina retorted.
"You are trying to deflect! If that's how you want to do this, then I have no choice but to deploy aggressive methods," Sebastian said, he took one long stride towards Sabrina before snatching Aino from her arms into his and started his way out.
"Mommy..." Aino screamed and tried to escape by kicking the man that was kidnapping her, but no matter how hard she kicked or punched, he wasn’t budging. She had thought that the Stinky Bum was afraid of her, but his arms turned out to be too strong for Aino to break loose from and that thought had her panicking.
hundreds of thousands."
Sabrina didn't know what to say, she wasn't lying when she said she didn't have the money.
"Sabrina," Sebastian chuckled darkly, "you were rather resourceful back in those three months you spent in the South City. You had all the eligible bachelors of the entire elite community heads over heels over you, how gloriously cunning you were, and now you are saying that you can't think of a way to pay your debt?" 1
"This house is the only thing I have to offer," Sabrina bit the bullet and said, "I designed it myself so it's not worth much. The land and the house combined could probably be sold for up to three hundred thousand. I'll put it on sale and return part of the debt, and pay for the remaining balance with what I earn for the rest of my life."
She might not be committed at first, but she was now. She meant every word she said, she didn't have much t o begin with and there was no way out other than selling the house and working for the rest of her life to pay the debt.
"Not bad! The proposal is fine, but how do I trust you? What happens if you decide to run again? How many more years should I spend looking for you then?" Sebastian drawled. Just then, his phone rang and he picked it up, "yes?"
"Master Sebastian," the voice on the other end was urgent, "the old Master has fallen ill and was just taken to the hospital."
"Alright, I will be heading back immediately!" Sebastian hung up and without giving Sabrina a chance to respond, said, "Aino will be coming with me as hostage, and you will return to the South City to work and pay for your debt."
