Minerva Payne? Everyone was stunned. None of them expected that the person Isadora was looking for was Minerva.
"What are you...looking for Minerva for, Isadora?" Jane knew what was on Isadora's mind. She was unable to forget Holden.
Isadora hung her head. "I had made a trip abroad earlier on and I had brought back some of Holden's belongings. Holden had saved a sum of money for Minerva in his account abroad. He said that was for Minerva's college. He...didn't want Minerva to use anybody else's money for her college tuition."
Both Jane and Sabrina took a look at each other and they both felt incredibly emotional. Although Isadora seemed vicious and cold on the surface, she was actually rather gentle and kind in her heart. At the very least, she was not a girl who would be tempted by money.
Jane smiled. "Well, then go ahead, Isadora. You and Minerva can also hang out more often in the future."
Perhaps both of them could huddle together for warmth this way. Isadora had lost a lover while Minerva had lost a loved one. Both of them were mourning the same person, so they certainly could support each other.
"Mm-hmm." Isadora nodded.
"That's easy! Minerva is attending medical school in South City. Yvonne and I can take you to meet her now. The young lady is honest and has always been b y the books. You will certainly like her once you meet her." Ruth immediately said.
Isadora immediately smiled. "Alright."
"Then, let's go now, shall we?" asked Yvonne.
Isadora nodded again. "Mm-hmm."
Aino, who was the oldest among the trio who had just crawled back in from outside, immediately got up and rushed over to ask, "You guys...where are you guys going? Take me with you, take me with you!"
She was unable to think of a good way to leave the two infants behind. There was a long pause before she said, "Alright then. When you guys come back, you'll have to bring me some snacks."
"That's a must!" Ruth said with a smile.
She originally wanted to take Aino along to meet Minerva. However, Minerva would cry inconsolably whenever she saw anything related to Holden recently, and since Aino liked Minerva so much, Ruth did not want to let Aino see Minerva being sad.
After the three ladies said goodbye to Sabrina, Jane, and Aino, Yvonne then drove them to Minverva's college. While they were on their way, Ruth and Yvonne were talking one after another without stopping like a couple of sparrows.
"Yvonne, how is your... How is your relationship with my cousin now? It's already been almost two years, but both of you are not talking about marriage? Even I am anxious for you two," asked Ruth.
Yvonne sighed. She had never hidden anything in front of Ruth. "I'll tell you this, Ruth. Your cousin is very nice to me and he loves me very much. Your aunt and uncle also love me very much. However, I just don't want to marry into the Shaw family."
