When he heard Sebastian saying that, Sean could not help but feel sad.
"You...your brother, he..."
"Dead," said Sebastian in a very direct manner.
Up until that point, he was still unable to accept the fact that Holden had died, but his brother indeed had died. He did not even get to share a proper meal with him, properly speak to him, and let him take a look at a picture of their mother when she was still alive. Just like that, Holden had died. He was fatally shot by Malvolio. His death was so tragic, and he had a huge bloody hole in his chest.
His body could not be kept for too long, so the next day after Sbaarina had just given birth, Sebastian had Holden's body cremated. He then put Holden's ashes next to their mother's tombstone. That was Holden's last wish. He had an immense resentment towards his mother, but at the same time, he longed for her embrace. He hoped he could be laid to rest in his mother's arms. Such heartbreaking pain made Sebastian cry.
"I want to first deal with Rose, then only I can go to my mother and my brother's grave to console them," said Sebastian. After that, he walked away.
Sebastian had no intention to let Sean go together with him to his mother's grave. However, step by step, an old figure, Sean, still followed behind him. Sean was old and weak, so his pace was slow. When he could not catch up with Sebastian anymore, he would run behind him. Even Kingston, who was standing next to the car far away, felt sorry for Sean when he saw the way he looked while running.
Sebastian called out to Kingston after he had got in the car. "Why are you still not getting in to drive?"
"Master Sebastian, Old Master Ford, he..." Kingston said.
However, one of those two sons could never return home his whole life, never meet his mother, and never call out to his father. How tragic was that?
When he saw Grace's kind smile and also his youngest son, with a gloomy and unruly expression, o n the tombstones, Sean suddenly fell to his knees and sobbed uncontrollably. At that point, after he had already lived for so long, he suddenly understood one thing. When he was young, he used to do all those things related to looting. In the end, all he actually had looted was his own happiness and his loved ones.
Was this everything backfiring on him? He had five biological sons, but only Sebastian was left at that moment.
After Sean knelt before Grace's grave and cried his heart out, he suddenly thought of something. He raised his teary eyes and looked at Sebastian. "Where i s...Sabrina?"
