Zayn never attempted to force his way into a relationship with Sabrina. The two treated one another like they would their siblings. As time went b y, the bond they shared developed into one that they would have considered each other like siblings by blood, with Sabrina's daughter also considering Zayn a s her uncle. Four years slipped by and their lives had been peaceful. Sabrina would come home every evening to take care of Zayn. She would help him into the house and set the bed for him, before heading out t o fetch her daughter from the kindergarten. Usually, her daughter would accompany her uncle as she headed back to the construction site and worked until half past six. But as she had just finished helping Zayn into the house, her phone rang.
"Hello? Miss. Wais?" The call was from her daughter's teacher at the kindergarten.
"Mrs. Scott, you need to get here this instant. Your daughter was in a fight with one of her classmates again!" Miss. Wais requested, her tone impatient.
"Oh, okay," Sabrina replied hurriedly. "I will be there a s soon as I can!"
She hung up and was just about to rush out when Zayn called out to her, "Sabbie..."
"Ya?"
"Don't be too harsh on Aino, okay?” Zayn said gently."
She is a good kid."
"But she..." Sabrina looked at him, frustrated. "She is fighting with the other kids again. Where exactly did she inherit such aggressiveness? I've never been in a fight myself in my entire life, and you are not an aggressive person either. Just why is she..." 2
Zayn chuckled. "You've forgotten something, Sabbie. Her father is a merciless man who enjoyed picking fights." 1
The obese man roared fiercely. "I don't care who her mother is! She is to drag her kid out of here once she i s here! No, wait! Nobody is leaving until that girl gets down on her knees and apologizes to my son!" 1
"Get down on my knees? Who do you think you are? I will never kneel to anyone!" A small figure retorted fearlessly.
"You little bast*rd! Do you have a death wish?" The obese man pointed a finger at Aino and yelled, "I am going to beat you up right here and now. You will kneel before my son and apologize to him, or I swear t o god, I will beat you to death!" i
"Mister, watch your mouth!" Sabrina, who was standing behind them, warned in a cold tone.
