"Well, Mr Ford has already been properly bandaged, and should be fine now. I don't think I need to be here anymore. Please thank Mr Ford for me, I am truly grateful to him. I will never forget the debt I owe him for saving my life. Right, Mr Yates, if you ever have time in the future, could you please help me ask Mr Ford if he would be willing to allow me to visit Aunt Grace's grave?”
Kingston didn't know how to respond.
"Aunt Grace will forever be family to me, which is also why I was adamant to forfeit the money agreed on the contract. I won’t define our relationship with money," Sabrina said.
"I will certainly ask that on your behalf." Kingston answered. "Miss Scott, the young master's wound was just bandaged, would you mind just taking care of him for just a little longer?"
Sabrina smiled, "Mr Ford is in the middle of a phone call now... with his fiance, Selene."
"But he doesn't love Selene!" Kingston suddenly cried, his voice full of resolve. 1
Sabrina didn't know what to make of his sudden outburst.
"Miss Scott, I have never seen the young master do something as selfless as blocking a knife for anyone
with his own hand!" Kingston said, looking at Sabrina.
Sabrina only smiled back. "What of it? Will Mr Ford ignore his own flesh and blood then?
"After all the pain and suffering that he and Aunt Grace had gone through, he definitely wouldn't allow his child to walk the same path.
"Furthermore, I'm carrying someone else's child. Even i f Sebastian didn't have a fiance, would he want me?
"He wouldn't!
"And even though I’m poor and destitute, I still wouldn’t want a man who would abandon his wife and child!
"So, Mr Yates, goodbye!"
Having said that, Sabrina left.
She didn’t even look back as she walked away.
She then took out another ten thousand, and wrote Nigel's name on it this time. 1
Even though she was the one who saved Nigel's life, it still did not take away the fact that she owed him money. Determined to leave this forsaken place once and for all, she did not want to leave any loose ends.
She now had eighty thousand left with her.
After some thought, Sabrina decided to return to her hometown to look for her mother's grave first, and find out the real reason for her death. Only then could she give birth peacefully. Eighty thousand should be enough to last her two years if she managed her spending wisely.
After two years, when her child would turn one, she planned to work very hard in order to make money and save it.
And one day in the future, she would definitely return the hundred thousand to Sebastian.
Sabrina tidied up her belongings in one night, and wanted to leave South City after giving the money to Zayn and Nigel the next day.
However, when morning came, Sabrina saw someone standing right in front of the door when she opened it. She asked calmly, "Mr Conor, do you need something?"
