"You are..." Sabrina felt that the voice she heard was somewhat familiar, but the idea was soon denied after a split moment of hesitation. She had never heard of this voice before.
"How...are you doing lately?" The person who called sounded like an old friend or an old foe, as though he had plenty of conflicts with Sabrina that he wanted to let go and couldn't do so. Sabrina's heart sank as she subconsciously glanced over at Sebastian.
Sebastian noticed the frown on her face. "What's wrong?"
He had thought that it was from his father. Could it be that his father turned to call Sabrina after Sebastian ended the call?
Sabrina handed her phone over to him and Sebastian answered in a tone as cold and sharp as a sword forged from ice. "Hello?"
Nothing. There was no sound at all. Not even noises of the person breathing, but Sebastian could distinctly hear the snapping sound of the person hanging up. He exchanged looks with Sabrina, both were confused.
After a while, Sabrina suggested, "Could it be...from m y brother?" 1
you angry?"
"Pfft...!" Kingston let a laugh escape. He could tell that his master was frustrated, extremely frustrated, and it was the kind of frustration that was ignited by jealousy. He had never imagined that Sebastian would completely transform from a cruel and self-restraint man to the man he was in the present. He became tough on the outside and soft on the inside, who was obsessed with protecting his wife and became jealous all the time, but these were all the things that made Sebastian more down-to-earth than he was before.
Sabrina turned around to look at Kingston, who was driving in the front seat. "What's with you, Assistant Yates?" She felt like he was laughing, but she couldn't be sure, since the laugh sounded more like he was choking.
