Still Wanna Escape After Stealing My Heart? novel Chapter 1159

Jane laughed pitifully. "It's all because I was greedy, I should not have coveted her million or so dollars...”

"But she even hit you! And wanted to kill you?"

Jane replied, "Yeah, if a kind man living on the mountain didn't save me, I might have died on top of the mountain last night."

"Damn it, sh*t!" Sabrina suddenly cursed in fury.

However, Jane’s laugh sounded relieved. "It's fine Sabrina, I’m doing quite well now. My belly is full, and I’m not cold either, it's just that I haven’t seen you in two weeks, and I suddenly wondered how's the problem you were facing? Did I get you into trouble for causing havoc at the hospital? How are you?"

"I’m good, Jane. The problem has been resolved, thank you for your concern. Where are you? Should I go pick you up?” Sabrina asked in concern.

"No, you don’t have to, uhm...Mr. Poole, he...didn't ask m e to repay my debt to him?” Jane asked again worriedly.

The moment the words left her mouth, once again, Alex snatched the phone out of Sabrina's hand. "Jane, where are you? Tell me, and I’ll go pick you up right now! Listen to me, you’re too stupid, you can’t survive out there, come back! Come back to me!"

Jane blinked. "What...what did you say?" “Come back!" Alex ordered. Actually, it was not an order. He was just anxious, feeling as if his heart was o n fire.

But to Jane’s ears, his tone translated into a form of fear. She immediately ended the call.

Sabrina was right. Jane would never call her again. Two weeks ago, when she was chased out of the house by Alex, Sabrina herself was in grave danger. And she remembered, back then, Alex had scolded her for causing trouble in the hospital, and as a result, Old Man Shaw caught hold of Sabrina's weakness. That's why the moment she recovered slightly, she immediately called Sabrina to ask her about her situation. Since Sabrina was fine, her guilt lessened considerably.

As for Alex, if she did not owe him anything more, she did not want to see him again for the rest of her life. Because she felt ashamed, because she felt as if she had actually been an unwelcome guest throughout the years she lived with him. She would never meet Alex again for the rest of her life.

There was no signal on the mountain, Jane made this call by borrowing someone's phone. After returning the phone to its owner, Jane stumbled and made her way back to the stone hut in the middle of the forest and said to the man who saved her. "I'm sorry, Noah. I can't stay here anymore, I have to go."

Honest Noah asked, "Where are you going?"

"Somewhere far away. The further, the better," Jane answered.
