Looking at his cousin’s warm expression, and how gently he was talking to Sabrina, Nigel's eyeballs almost fell out.
He was mistaken earlier.
Now, it looked like the others were right.
His cousin had changed a lot.
He was no longer bloodthirsty, no longer casually killed people, and was no longer cold and ruthless.
However, that did not seem right either!
The others were not completely right!
His cousin did become unbelievably warm, but that was only in front of Sabrina and Aino!
In front of others, even in front of Nigel, Sebastian's cousin, Sebastian was still the same person.
He never changed!
Furthermore, Nigel could tell that his cousin was showing off!
In other words, his cousin had been jealous!
Nigel was speechless.
He had not eaten yet, but he seemed to have had that whole scene forced down his throat and filling his stomach.
He dumbly looked on as his cousin talked on the phone. "What did you say? Alex? You know as well, I've been busy with Mother's matters lately, and haven't contacted him. That time, it was Alex who handled the whole matter with finding the family of the person Selene killed. I still haven’t thanked him for that, so I should give him a call."
Sabrina urged Sebastian, "Yes, you should hurry up and call."
"Okay."
After hanging up, Sebastian ignored the officials at the dining table, including his cousin, Nigel, and his aunt and uncle.
He immediately walked out to give Alex a call.
Alex's phone was off as well.
What was happening?
Sebastian's heart froze.
He then called the landline of Alex's summer home.
The phone was immediately answered.
Sebastian and the person on the other end talked at the same time.
One time, at a famous bar in Eastern Europe called Black Bar, Lily had heard that the bar had a lot of new and wondrous playthings. Those who were able to hang around in that bar definitely had a very strong background.
Either their own, or by relying on someone else.
Lily, a pure and clean woman, had walked into that bar with nothing on her.
Black, as the name suggested, meant that it was home to many shady things.
The bar's business was strangely booming.
However, before even entering the bar, one would see many guards stationed outside, holding weapons.
Those who went in were either driving luxury cars worth millions of dollars, or would have groups of scantily clad women behind them.
Basically, none of those people were people you wanted to provoke.
Yet, in such a place, Lily had dared to walk in alone.
She had attracted many stares the moment she walked close to the bar.
When she was at the door and the guards inspected her, those people let out surprised whistles.
They spoke in the local language. "Will a little pigeon like you even be able to come out again after you’ve stepped inside?
