Lincoln did not say anything as he paused.
He turned back and looked at Sabrina. "Sabbie, I'm just trying to avenge you."
"You're wrong." Sabrina said, "I'm about the same age a s Selene, so even if she bullied me, how bad could it b e? If you, as her father, didn't support her, how could she bully me?"
Lincoln did not reply to her, as he was stunned silent." If
"You were the one who didn't celebrate my birthday every year; you were the one who starved me every day; you were also the one who told me that I was indebted to you. You were the one who refused to tell me you were my father; you were the one who made m e stay in a shack so that I had to squint through the door frame to look on as the three of you lived as a happy family!
"You stopped me from attending university and instead, sent me to prison. Then you personally bailed me out then sent me to Sebastian. Now that Sebastian beat the odds and obtained success, again, you were the one who wanted to force me to my death.
"Lincoln Lynn, throughout my life, my biggest enemy, i s neither Jade Sullivan nor Selene. But you."
Lincoln could just say, "Sabbie..."
"Sabbie is not the name you can call me by." Sabrina's expression was calm. "From the day I was born until now, the only thing you ever did for me was do harm t o me."
At this point, Sabrina sounded tired. "Mr. Lynn, since I was a child until the day I grew up, I don't know what I did wrong. For you to hate me so much, trying to harm me every day, thinking of means and ways to kill me?
"Time and time again, as long as I survived, you would think it's my fault, that I remained alive to disgust you.
"Why? Can you just tell me why?"
"You helped your adopted daughter marry into a rich family, but still continued to chase me down for six whole years.
"And most importantly, you tricked my mother into working in a coal mine, and even imprisoned her!
"Lincoln Lynn, you deserve to die for all your crimes!"
Lincoln fell to the floor with a thud. His complexion was deadly pale. He was filled with hatred; he wished he could skin both Jade and Selene alive. He was also filled with regret, desperately wishing his own daughter could forgive him. 1
However, Sabrina only said to Lincoln firmly, "Lincoln Lynn, today marks the start of your countdown to death!"
