The old Master Shaw looked blankly at Sebastian, trembling. "Se-sebastian, what...what are you saying?"
"You heard me, old man," he replied in a careless tone.
Old Master Shaw gaped at him.
No longer interested in the old Master Shaw, Sebastian turned to look at Lincoln, who had already been captured. "Lincoln Lynn, take your daughter and your wife to the police station and explain every single detail about how Sabrina ended up in jail all those years ago!" he said in an extremely cold voice.
"No..." Lincoln whined.
"Grandpa Shaw, I've kept my promise to you the entire time," Sebastian added, "you said to not lay my hands o n the Lynn Family. I made a promise and I followed through. But if they commit a crime against the law themselves, then it's not my fault, old man. Also, you probably need to go with them..."
The old Master Shaw remained silent.
Marcus crawled his way towards the old Master Shaw. "Grandpa! Don't you get it? Sebastian has found all the witnesses and footage related to the case all those years ago. It was the Lynn Family who framed Sabrina and sent her into prison, the person who commited murder has been Selene all along, not Sabrina! Grandpa, you can't continue to be this stubborn,
otherwise you..."
The old Master Shaw blinked blankly and looked over t o Lincoln, who was about to be taken away. "Is...is that true?"
Your step-father loved you, but we had always been discriminated against in that village. You would always get beaten up or cursed at since you were a child. You even ended up with broken ribs at the age o f twelve, and I couldn't do anything to help you. I was the one who decided to send you back to your biological father, thinking that you could lead a better life that way. I've never imagined that your own father would become the person who hurt you the most in this world. I have sinned in my life, my daughter. I've been looked down on and suffered all my life, and I've grown accustomed to it. I feel safe living in the sewers, with no fear of storms or rain, I can even see you and Aino from time to time. I...I really don't want t o interrupt the way you live your life."
"No...no! Mom, please, no!" Sabrina broke down in tears. "I want to live with you, I want to stay with you forever, Mom."
Sebastian, too, joined her in convincing her mother." Mom, if you don't want to go home, we can go to a hotel first. There are a lot of things that need to be resolved. Things that happened in the past, Sabrina being wrongfully put away in prison, her identity and related documentation, along with little Aino's identification in the future, all of these need your help in arranging." The truth was that Sebastian could have handled all of the issues he mentioned on his own, but he needed an excuse to convince her to not g o back into staying in the sewers.
The stray woman hesitated, as he had expected. She didn't care if she lived or died.
