Marcus had never met his aunt before.
The year when his aunt ran away from home, he had not been born yet.
Still, when he saw the pair of eyes, he just blurted out for some reason.
However, when he hurriedly opened his door and stepped out of his car, that pair of eyes were nowhere t o be found.
'Where did she go?’
Marcus looked around in every direction.
However, he could no longer see that ragged figure anymore, i
An old lady with a basket happened to pass by Marcus ' side, and she was muttering to herself. "I don’t know what's going on at this intersection. Yesterday, a girl was here bawling and shouting for her mother, and that cry was so pitiful.”
Marcus asked, "What did you say, ma'am."
The old lady continued to say, "Today, someone is here calling for his aunt."
After saying that, the old lady did not look at Marcus; she just hobbled away with her basket.
Marcus was left alone and suddenly tears streamed
down his face.
'Aunt!'
'Could it be that she is still alive?
'Could it be that she is moving around here?’
Once he thought of this, Marcus was even more eager t o see Sabrina.
He originally wanted to call Sabrina. However, once he thought that Sabrina was not in a good mood these two days, Marcus then took out his phone and called Sebastian.
On the other end, Sebastian was quick to answer the call.
Sebastian's tone was calm as usual, as if nothing had happened. "Hello."
Marcus' tone was incomparably apologetic." Sebastian, is Sabrina alright?"
"Not alright!" said Sebastian.
Marcus was speechless.
Marcus said, "I don't know. When I came over, she just came out of the resuscitation room. It seemed like her condition has worsened”
After a pause, Marcus said, “Sebastian, given your promise with my grandpa, I know you are in a difficult position. How about this? Let Sabrina hide someone outside for a few months. If my grandpa can't find her, then he could only accept his fate. Maybe when Sabrina returns, Selene would have already died."
Sebastian nodded. "At this moment, this is the only way to go, but..."
Sebastian stopped halfway through his sentence.
He did not tell Marcus that the reason Sabrina was not that willing to go hide outside was because of her mother.
Sabrina was certain that her mother was somewhere around here.
She must be nearby.
If Sabrina were to leave the house for six months, then what about her mother?
Although her mother was not willing to make an appearance now, at least Sabrina knew she was still alive. Also, her mother could take a look at Sabrina and Aino every day, and maybe that was the hope for her to continue living.
However, if Sabrina were to take Aino along and hide outside for a while, she could not imagine what the consequence would be.
Sabrina dared not think if she could still meet her mother in this life.
