Ye Fan glanced at his eldest sister, "It’s the second sister, I have been following her and learning this whole month."
"Pfft—"
Ye Jinlan couldn’t help but laugh out loud, "Wait, brother, say that again, who taught you?"
Even Lady Tian and Tian Yu looked at Ye Fan in surprise.
Ye Fan was annoyed by the way his sister and these people couldn’t help but show their mocking faces whenever the second sister was mentioned.
Look down on who?
He glanced at them, "It’s her."
After saying this, he didn’t wait for them to say anything and returned to his room.
In the hall, the remaining people looked at each other, Lady Tian could not help but look towards Ye Fan’s mother, "Xiaofan hasn’t had any issues recently, has he?"
They had watched Ye Shaohua grow up and knew exactly how capable she was; they couldn’t believe it when they heard that Ye Fan was letting Ye Shaohua teach him mathematics.
To say that Ye Shaohua was better than Professor Mo was unbelievable.
They really didn’t know what to say to Ye Fan.
"Lately, following Shaohua, he has changed like this," Ye Fan’s mother said helplessly, "I hope the final exams will knock some sense into him and make him see clearly."
The group talked about Ye Fan for a while before starting to discuss the next day’s plans.
The next morning.
Ye Jinlan got up very early, putting on make-up that wasn’t too heavy but was very delicate.
She then knocked on Ye Fan’s door, "Xiaofan, are you really not going with your sister?"
She asked again.
Without turning his head, Ye Fan responded, "No, I’m not going."
"You..." Ye Jinlan sighed, "Fine, this is a one-time opportunity, Xiaofan, I hope you won’t regret your decision later."
Ye Jinlan didn’t know that upon hearing her words, Ye Fan’s lips slightly curled into a mildly mocking smile.
**
Grand Hotel.
Ye Jinlan arrived early with Lady Tian, Mr. Tian, and Tian Yu.
The four of them were obviously very excited.
"That’s my classmate," Ye Jinlan was saying when a woman wearing a beige dress entered through the door, a small bag slung over her arm and exuding a slightly haughty aura.
It was clear that this air of distinction was something she had acquired from her upbringing.
"This is my senior sister, Bai Weiwei," Ye Jinlan introduced her to the Tian family, "Senior sister, these are the Tians I told you about, this is Tian Yu, and these are his parents."
The two parties greeted each other.
"Bai senior sister once participated in a national project, it was there she met Professor Mo," Ye Jinlan said with a smile, "The Bai family was also one of the contributors to that project, which is how she managed to get Professor Mo’s itinerary."
Upon hearing Ye Jinlan’s words, the three Tians exchanged glances.
There was a hint of astonishment on their faces.
The Tian Family was considered a wealthy household in An City.
But they knew they couldn’t compare to the noble families of Imperial City; however, they hadn’t expected Ye Jinlan to know such people.
No wonder they couldn’t get in touch with Professor Mo, yet Ye Jinlan could.
Seeing the Tian family’s reaction to Ye Jinlan’s performance, Bai Weiwei found it somewhat dull, "Let’s wait, Professor Mo will be here soon."
The small group sat in the hall, waiting for Professor Mo.
Lady Tian and the others kept looking towards the entrance.
But instead of Professor Mo, they ended up seeing someone they never would have expected.
"Is that... Ye Shaohua?" Lady Tian narrowed her eyes as she watched the approaching girl.
After finishing her greetings, she turned back to converse with Ye Jinlan, her attitude extremely warm.
There were only two resting areas in the international hotel.
The one across was already occupied.
That left only the area where Ye Jinlan and the others were. There was seating for six people, but Bai Weiwei and the others clearly didn’t intend to offer her a seat.
Ye Shaohua wasn’t the type to have a thick skin, so she simply walked a few steps forward and leaned against a pillar, engrossed in her cell phone.
It wasn’t until after she left that Madam Tian looked up, "What is she doing here?"
"She’s probably meeting a friend." Ye Jinlan murmured. Since Shaohua spoke in such a low voice just now, they hadn’t heard her clearly, so she kept it brief.
Meeting a friend? Madam Tian and Bai Weiwei, upon hearing this, didn’t pursue the conversation further, clearly uninterested in whoever Shaohua was meeting.
Just at that moment,
Two cars pulled up in front of the Grand Hotel.
Then two lines of men in black stood on either side of the hotel, and from the leading black car descended an elderly man with silvering hair.
Following him was a group of highly distinguished figures from the mathematics and other scientific communities.
Most importantly, to his left, there was a middle-aged man in a military uniform, the epaulettes on his shoulders bone-chilling!
A general?!
"This is what I meant by it’s not easy to meet him," Bai Weiwei excitedly watched the group but tried to keep her composure before saying, "Professor Mo is currently working on a very secretive project, and his safety is protected by an army general. If you want to speak with him, it’s difficult; you might be arrested as a spy before you even get close."
The Tian Family didn’t dare to speak.
The entire hall of the hotel was very quiet.
Professor Mo’s gaze swept around the hall, then, upon spotting someone, he quickened his pace and headed straight over there.
Knowing that Professor Mo had arrived, Ye Shaohua straightened up and shuffled a few steps towards him, extending her hand, "Professor Mo."
"Miss Ye!" Professor Mo smiled. "I have finally met you."
Not far away, Ye Jinlan and the Tian Family members were stunned to a halt.
