Sorry for Your Loss It's Me I'm the Loss novel Chapter 872

The elder Mrs. Thompson's death passed quietly, without making a single ripple. It didn't even affect Bennett and Yvonne's wedding plans.

The Thompson family remained in a festive mood, busily preparing for the wedding and awaiting the arrival of the new life in Yvonne's womb.

As for the fully formed fetus Yolanda had aborted, Mr. Thompson Sr. sighed when he heard the news. Frank, too, sighed. As for everyone else, even sighing felt like a waste of energy.

Because Bennett was busy with work and Yvonne was suffering from severe morning sickness and needed to rest, Emma was handling almost all of the wedding preparations.

Emma was deeply invested in her son's wedding, overseeing every detail, big and small, while also consulting Yvonne for her opinions.

After all, it was Yvonne's wedding, and the bride's preferences should be the priority.

However, Yvonne had been so sick lately that she had no energy to think about venue decorations, whether the air-freighted flowers should be red or pink roses, or if the wedding dress should be adorned with pearls or diamonds. She simply left it all to Emma.

Besides, Yvonne wasn't particularly obsessed with the wedding itself. As long as the groom was Bennett, that was all that mattered.

The wedding involved so many tasks that Emma would occasionally ask Cynthia Scott for her input. She'd sometimes complain to Cynthia, "Those two are completely hands-off, leaving everything to me. You'd think this wedding was for me."

"The more capable you are, the more you do. Yvonne is so lucky to have a wonderful mother-in-law like you; she must have done something right in a past life," Cynthia chimed in with a smile, always knowing just the right thing to say.

"Dana dotes on you too. She gave you the bracelet from her own dowry, one she rarely even wore herself," Emma also said with a smile.

As a mother-in-law, Dana was even more qualified than Emma. She was gentle, emotionally stable, generous, and wouldn't even judge a daughter-in-law's background. She would patiently guide her and take her to social events.
