Sorry for Your Loss It's Me I'm the Loss novel Chapter 747

“Mr. Taylor, hello,” Yvonne said with a smile, walking over to sit in the chair opposite him.

With cameras all around them, Yvonne’s demeanor was perfectly composed—not overly warm, but not distant either.

“Yvonne, long time no see,” Thomas replied, also smiling.

The phrase ‘long time no see’ was hardly appropriate, considering they had just seen each other yesterday at the Thompson family’s private estate.

After their greetings, an awkward silence fell between them.

Yvonne had no idea what the game was, but Thomas was wearing a hidden earpiece, receiving instructions from the production crew. This was their challenge.

Production Team: “Mr. Taylor, now, have Yvonne stand up.”

Thomas: “…”

He looked at Yvonne awkwardly. “Yvonne, uh, could you please stand up for a moment?”

“Huh?” Yvonne was confused but stood up anyway.

Production Team: Mr. Taylor, now, ask Yvonne to dance for you.

Thomas: “…”

Having stood up, Yvonne was looking at him quizzically. “Mr. Taylor, what’s next?”

Thomas cleared his throat, embarrassed. “Yvonne, could you please dance for me?”

Yvonne asked, “Is this part of the game?”

“You could say that,” Thomas replied.

Yvonne nodded in understanding. The only problem was, she couldn't dance.

“I don’t know how to dance. How about a military-style combat routine instead?”

Yvonne nodded. “Thank you for the compliment, Mr. Taylor.”

“And, um… I really like you,” Thomas added, looking directly into her eyes.

Yvonne: “…”

Now she was the one at a loss. She stared at him, bewildered.

She knew Thomas had feelings for her; he had confessed before. But he would never do something like this in public.

Unless he was possessed.

“Mr. Taylor, have you been taken over by a spirit?” Yvonne narrowed her beautiful, fox-like eyes, studying him carefully until she finally spotted the tiny, clear earpiece in his ear.

“You’re wearing an earpiece. Are you following instructions from the production team?”

The hidden earpiece was designed to be discreet, but Yvonne had still managed to find it.
