She Was the Treasure All Along novel Chapter 664

Dustin let out a derisive snort, jabbing a thick finger at the screen. "Complete bullshit! If the impact came from the outside, the metal fatigue and weld tears would splinter inward in a radial pattern. We ran these high-res shots through enhancement, and the micro-deformations on these stress points exploded *outward* from inside the compartment!"

He swiped to the next image, highlighting incredibly subtle discolorations and chipped paint that would take a trained eye to notice. "And look here. See these pale, spiderweb-like marks? That's not from a localized fire, and it's not water damage. That's a 'frost spot', created by flash-burning at extreme temperatures in a microsecond! You only get that specific diffusion pattern when a high-yield explosive is mounted directly onto the interior wall!"

Beside him, Buck's voice buzzed with the thrill of the hunt. "So sure, external artillery might cause fires and blow holes in the ship, but it would *never* leave these concentrated, textbook internal detonation marks inside a sealed compartment! Someone planted a 'little gift' on *The Providence* before things even kicked off!"

He delivered his final verdict with absolute certainty: "This wasn't an accident, and it wasn't a simple ambush. It was an inside job! There was a mole on that crew. They planted the charges, waited for the signal, and blew their own ship to the bottom of the ocean! Those exterior damages were either a cover-up fired later, or secondary collateral from the main blast!"

Loyce and Lucian listened without a flicker of surprise. Loyce had already deduced this within days of the incident. Now, they just needed airtight evidence to permanently nail Coleman Pierce to the wall.

Seeing their stone-faced reactions to his passionate presentation, Dustin faltered. "So? Uh, what do you guys think?"

"It's thorough," Loyce said. "Have you guys been sailing in areas with good cell reception lately?"

Buck nodded. "Yeah, we're on vacation."

Lucian couldn't help himself. "Pirates get vacation time?"

"It's a demanding career," Buck replied, perfectly deadpan.

Lucian stared at him.

"You're both incredibly articulate," Loyce interjected smoothly. "I want you to package this analysis into a video and drop it on the forums. You're the perfect messengers. Even if someone wants to silence you, they can't exactly reach you out there."

"Not a problem," Buck agreed. "Dustin and I will host it. We'll clear your boy's name. As for our end of the deal..."

"Your shipment will be delivered on time, exactly as promised," Loyce assured him.

Buck's face lit up. "Oh, one more thing! I've always said manufacturers in Harmony Country make the best and cheapest goods. Could you throw in the items from those shopping links I sent you? Just pack them with the crates. I don't think standard delivery services will ship to my coordinates."

"What do you need those for?" Lucian cut in.

"To spice up the marital bed, obviously!" Buck beamed.
