Just as Nathan and Hepburn shook hands, the vampires cheered, while the humans breathed a sigh of relief, knowing they wouldn't have to go to war.
Suddenly, faint echoes of massive explosions could be heard from afar. Immediately after, the ground began to shake violently, as if an earthquake had struck.
The vampires were taken aback, with many of the powerful ones demanding to know what was going on.
The vampires thought that the humans had betrayed them and were suddenly going to attack them.
Nathan, along with Fang and others, was also filled with uncertainty and surprise.
Nathan asked sternly, “What's going on? What's with the distant explosion? Which country's troops have launched the missile?”
Fang quickly investigated what was going on.
He quickly used the alliance communicator to obtain firsthand information. His face changed dramatically on the spot as he came to report to Nathan.
“Commander Cross, we have a problem. According to the Earth Alliance aerospace team, a red alert has been issued. Countless unidentified flying objects have appeared in the solar system, swarming towards Earth like a hive of bees. The initial assessment is that it's a fleet of spaceships belonging to Gods and their vanguard fleet has already reached Earth. Just now, the headquarters in the South, Eurasia, was attacked by a laser from a Gods' spaceship. A massive explosion occurred, resulting in heavy casualties. Meanwhile, major cities in Ariarica, Remdik, Eagleland, Xyperia, and Jetroina were successively attacked by the Gods' spaceships. There is extensive damage everywhere, and refugees are fleeing major cities in panic. Just now, it was the nearby Salinsburgh that was attacked by a Gods spaceship, resulting in a hundred thousand casualties. Countless people are now fleeing from Salinsburgh...”
Nathan and Hepburn's faces drastically changed.
The surrounding vampire powerhouses and human warriors all drew in a sharp breath.
Gods have actually launched a large-scale attack on Earth!
Meanwhile, within the solar system, countless Gods' spaceships were advancing toward Earth.
Inside the flagship, Medille was seated on the commander's seat on the bridge.
He squinted his eyes, speaking slowly, “Since I became the king of Gods, I have exterminated creatures from numerous other planets, earning me the title of King of the Universe, but never have we suffered such significant losses as we have in dealing with Earth this time. On top of the countless God Warriors and paladins sacrificed, my brother, Morgon, was actually killed on Earth.”
Medille's voice echoed through the communicator in every spaceship.
Every elite and God Warrior aboard each spaceship heard it loud and clear.
Medille then said, “I'm at a loss for words to describe my current feelings. I suppose 'burning with rage' might be the best way to describe it. Right now, I have only one request, and all of you have only one goal. The main fleet shall follow closely behind the vanguard fleet to descend upon Earth. We will launch a full-scale attack on it! I want you to carry the fury of thunder, sweep across the Earth, and show the humans what the wrath of Gods truly means. I call this operation, Cataclysm.”
