Salute to the General novel Chapter 3532

In the palace of the Curia, Eugene IV was shocked and livid upon learning of Nathan's arrival and finding out that one of the God Warriors engaged in combat with Nathan, almost exposing his identity as a God.

Turning to look at Alden and Cassandra, he complained, “The two of you should manage your warriors properly and prevent them from acting impulsively. Once your true identities are exposed and the world becomes aware of the presence of Gods within the Curia, we could transform into a global adversary.”

Crossing her arms, Alden scoffed, “Are you trying to teach us how to do our jobs?”

Cassandra, too, looked at Eugene IV with a cold smirk. As a God, especially one of the superiors, they were not pleased with Eugene IV telling them what to do.

Eugene IV noticed their displeasure and quickly clarified, “That's not what I meant. I'm just hoping that Elder Morgon's grand plan could be completed successfully.”

The mention of Morgon's name reminded Alden and Cassandra of their important mission on Earth.

The look of nonchalance on their faces disappeared instantly.

Cassandra said, “Rest assured, we will keep our warriors in check. We won't cause you any trouble, let alone hinder Elder Morgon's plans.”

Eugene IV quickly said, “We are all working for His Majesty. If anyone has any issues, feel free to speak up. By the way, I wonder why Nathan suddenly came looking for me this time?”

Cassandra responded, “Nathan has imprisoned a group of our warriors. Subsequently, he also apprehended members of the Curia, including individuals like Baccio and others. I have reason to believe that he has already gleaned information from these prisoners, possibly leading to doubts regarding your faction as well.”

Eugene IV grew anxious.

A crazy glint appeared in Alden's eyes as he smiled evilly and continued, “Among all the War Gods of Earth Alliance, the one we fear the most is Nathan Cross. If we can manage to kill him, Earth Alliance will crumble into disarray. That way, the chances of Elder Morgon's plan to cause turmoil in Earth being successful will greatly increase.”

Eugene IV's face lit up with joy, but he immediately expressed his hesitation, “But Nathan is powerful. Killing him might not be an easy task.”

Alden said arrogantly, “What's there to be afraid of? Cassandra and I are here to help. Moreover, we have a large number of experts here in the Curia. I refuse to believe that we can't kill him if we all attack together.”

Eugene IV looked at Cassandra, who said slowly, “Nathan is indeed formidable, but with Alden by my side and the assistance of so many God Warriors, I believe we can defeat him. At worst, we'll just suffer a heavy sacrifice. But I believe any amount of sacrifice would be worth it as long as we succeed in taking down Nathan.”

Eugene IV gritted his teeth. “Since both of you are confident in taking down Nathan, let's proceed with this plan. We'll eliminate Nathan.”
