"I’ll wait for you at the apartment."

Ren Xiya clutched the bag tightly; it felt heavy.

Li Huan happily returned to the hospital, and once his shift resumed, his colleagues teased him.

"So, are you in love?"

"You were downcast a few days ago, clear sign of a fight, and today you’re so cheery. Have you made up?" A colleague asked.

Laughing and joking, the two headed to the office.

Just as Li Huan sat down, a message from Ren Xiya popped up.

"I’m gonna shower and sleep first, wake me when you’re back."

"Just sleep, I’m not a beast."

"I would like to. Why? Women aren’t allowed to enjoy?" Ren Xiya replied.

"Waiting for you."

After reading, Li Huan felt a rush of heat and hastily drank half a glass of water.

Putting the glass down, he remembered he still had to find the missing report for Lin Zhiyi.

He began searching his desk for the report but couldn’t find it.
