Walking into the store, Lin Zhiyi was taken aback.
A sports car drove right across the lobby in front of her.
And then another one.
There were even race car models leading the way.
For a moment, it was hard to tell if this was a place for leisure or a racetrack.
"Isn’t this a bit exaggerated?" Lin Zhiyi exclaimed in surprise.
"It’s a marketing tactic, designed to attract wealthy people. My boss has a membership here and suggested I throw a single’s party here, might as well use it."
Sister Zhou continued walking inside with Lin Zhiyi.
Lin Zhiyi nodded and asked, "When did you start dating?"
"It’s been over a year now. After learning from past experiences, I was very cautious this time. I only agreed to marry him once I confirmed his three views align with mine, and we have the same life goals."
"What about your family..." Lin Zhiyi asked with some concern.
"I don’t want to talk about it. They started inquiring about my life before, probably trying to set me up. I don’t want to do my brother any favors. We plan to have a destination wedding, and luckily his parents are open-minded and don’t oppose."
Sister Zhou was smiling as she spoke.
Indicating that she’s living well now.
While they talked, they had reached their private room.
As soon as they walked in, two other women stood up.
Sister Zhou introduced everyone, then sat Lin Zhiyi down.
"Relax, let’s have fun today. By the way, where are the other two?"
"Went to the restroom."
"Then let’s start first."
Sister Zhou gave Lin Zhiyi a sly smile.
Lin Zhiyi nodded but didn’t quite understand what "start" meant.
Judging by the luxurious decor in the room, the minimum spend must be high.
The next second, Sister Zhou picked up the tablet on the table and tapped something on it, though Lin Zhiyi had no idea what it was.
Not long after, a jolly older woman came in with some people.
"Dear guests, if you’re not satisfied with this batch, we’ve got more coming."
With that, she waved her hand.
A group of men, each dressed differently and with varying looks and voices, entered.
"Hello, sisters."
Lin Zhiyi got goosebumps all over.
She turned to Sister Zhou: "Going this big?"
Sister Zhou waved it off: "We’re not men, we’re just here to dance and sing. Once you’re married, you won’t have the chance. Don’t worry, today’s on me."
"I don’t need it."
Her person’s jealousy was too strong to risk it.
Sister Zhou smirked: "You could just pick one to chat with. They’re here to make money too. Come on, I’ll pick you a decent one."
Sister Zhou’s hand hovered in front of the men, finally pointing at one in a sharp suit.
"I don’t know why, but when I see him, he reminds me of someone. You looked at him too, didn’t you think he looked familiar? I didn’t expect so many types here."
"Stop laughing." Lin Zhiyi tried to get Sister Zhou to stop smiling, but she herself also laughed.
When people are speechless, they laugh.
Because this guy really resembled Gong Chen.
Not in looks or aura, but he was dressed very much like Gong Chen.
If Lin Zhiyi wasn’t mistaken, the suit he was wearing was the same one Gong Chen wore to an interview last time.
But his must be a knock-off, as the stitching on the hem was obviously untidy.
Since he resembled Gong Chen so well, it was hard for Lin Zhiyi not to glance at him.
She couldn’t help but wonder what Gong Chen’s reaction would be if he saw this man.
"Hi, sister."
The man greeted coldly.
Lin Zhiyi and Sister Zhou glanced at him and nearly burst into laughter.
The man had makeup on, and upon closer inspection, his whole look was adjusted to resemble Gong Chen.
It seems Gong Chen is quite popular in women’s circles.
They even have a 1:1 replica.
Lin Zhiyi realized her reaction was impolite and immediately took a deep breath.
"Hello, have a seat."
The man was making an effort to mimic Gong Chen, simply doing his job, so he’s not at fault.
She decided she would leave a bigger tip.
