"What land?"
Chu Yin was startled and didn’t react for a moment.
Fang Sisi stared at them, just about to say something when the door was suddenly pushed open.
A man in a suit walked in.
"I’ve told you before, my client cannot meet any outsiders."
"Miss Fang, what did you say?"
Fang Sisi looked at the newcomer, her face pale.
She instantly let go of Lin Zhiyi and Chu Yin’s hands and shrank to the side.
It was obvious she was scared of this man.
Lin Zhiyi stood up and looked at the man, judging from his words he should be a lawyer.
The type of lawyer that doesn’t come cheap.
Definitely not someone Fang Sisi could afford.
Lin Zhiyi was about to speak when Gong Chen gave a signal at the door.
She reached out and pulled Chu Yin closer, then changed her words: "What else could she say? Just wants us to help her, beg those sisters to let her go. Now she regrets it, what was she doing before."
After speaking, Lin Zhiyi gave Fang Sisi a deep look.
Fang Sisi lowered her head.
"Chu Yin, let’s go."
"Okay."
The two walked past the lawyer, who was still scrutinizing them, seemingly gauging if their conversation was genuine.
Fortunately, the police station’s surveillance wasn’t something he could access just by asking.
After leaving.
Lin Zhiyi quickly approached Gong Chen.
"What’s going on?"
"He should be the lawyer Mrs. Bai assigned to Fang Sisi, to prevent her from speaking recklessly," Gong Chen said.
Sang Li quietly added, "Judging by his attitude, Fang Sisi would either end up spending the rest of her life in jail, never seeing daylight again, or... dead."
Chu Yin was taken aback: "Isn’t Fang Sisi very much in danger now?"
"Third Young Master has already contacted Captain Xing, he’ll keep a close watch."
"That’s good then." Chu Yin turned to Lin Zhiyi, "Zhiyi, did you hear what Fang Sisi said? What land?"
"Cemetery," Lin Zhiyi said softly.
"Whose grave does she want us to pay respects to?" Chu Yin’s imagination ran wild.
"I don’t know, but there are so many cemeteries in Jing City, it’s hard to tell which one."
"If it’s a cemetery, why was she being so secretive?" Chu Yin questioned.
"She probably didn’t want others to hear, clearly she doesn’t even trust the people at the police station, only trusting the two of you," Sang Li analyzed.
Chu Yin chuckled dryly: "Being trusted by her is not necessarily a good thing."
Lin Zhiyi, however, felt that at this point, Fang Sisi had no need to deceive her.
"I must find out which cemetery it is, I have a feeling there’s something we don’t know."
Just as she turned around, Gong Chen reached out and stopped her.
"Wait a moment, the lawyer won’t let you near her again. If you ask, others would be eager to root out the trouble. I’ll send someone to check on the cemeteries related to Fang Sisi."
Chu Yin stepped forward to advise, "Zhiyi, I think Third Young Master is right, the look in that lawyer’s eyes just now, he wanted to see through us, he’s definitely a ruthless person."
Lin Zhiyi agreed and nodded.
"Alright."
As they left the police station, Gong Chen suddenly stopped.
"Zhiyi, Captain Xing wants me to sign something, you go find Xingxing first."
"Why didn’t he mention it earlier?"
Lin Zhiyi skeptically looked at Gong Chen.
Gong Chen took out his phone and pointed to the message on it.
"He probably forgot, just sent me a message."
Lin Zhiyi glanced at it, indeed it was a message from Captain Xing.
"Then you go ahead, I’ll wait with Xingxing in the car."
"Okay."
Gong Chen turned back to the police station.
Nearby, Sang Li discreetly watched Gong Chen’s retreating figure.
"I’m going to the bathroom, you two go ahead and chat."
"Alright, I just want to go see Xingxing."
Chu Yin took Lin Zhiyi by the arm.
The two walked to the parking lot together, just in time to see the bodyguard playing with Xingxing by the car.
"Aunt Chu."
