"Elena! Dylan!" suddenly, her eldest brother shouted.
The two quickly pulled apart, Elena blushing slightly.
They saw her big brother running over. "Why are you two here?"
"Ben, are you off work?" Elena asked.
"Yeah, I was passing by and saw you. What were you doing just now?" Ben asked innocently.
"No... nothing..."
"Is Dylan feeling unwell? Is that why he was leaning on you? Dylan, come here, let me carry you home!" Ben said, moving to hoist Dylan onto his back.
"Ben... no need, really no need. I'm better now. I won't trouble you, Ben!" Dylan said with an awkward smile.
"Right, he's better. Let's go back together!" Elena said, starting to walk forward.
Seeing Dylan follow her, Ben happily chased after them.
He slapped a hand onto Dylan's shoulder. "Dylan, if you can come out for a walk, that proves you really are better!"
"Cough, cough!" Dylan suddenly coughed a few times.
Elena quickly asked, "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine... just, how is your brother's strength so great?" It was the first time Dylan had truly experienced it.
"Ben, Dylan's body hasn't fully recovered yet. You can't just slap him like that," Elena admonished.
Living together, Elena knew Ben was incredibly strong.
He usually didn't feel it when he slapped someone on the back, but for the recipient, it carried a lot of weight.
"I'm sorry, Dylan. I was just too excited earlier. I'm genuinely happy for you. I won't do it again!" Ben lowered his head guiltily.
"It's okay, Ben. I won't fall apart, don't worry!" Dylan said with a smile.
He wouldn't forget that when he was paralyzed, it was Ben who carried him up and down.
Every day, Ben had carefully wiped down his body for him. He really was like a big brother.
How could he hold a grudge against him?
Soon, the three returned home.
