She felt that Bianca was completely thick-skinned. To chase Sean all the way to the company was absurd.
"Fine, I understand," Bianca replied.
But she didn't leave. Instead, she continued to wait.
If she saw Sean getting off work, she intended to ask him personally.
Jane realized what Bianca was planning—she intended to pester him relentlessly.
Consequently, Jane ordered security to come over and escort Bianca out.
"Is this how you treat people? I can walk myself! What kind of company is this?" Bianca shouted, humiliated and angry.
She wasn't even allowed to sit for a while longer.
She was thrown out of the main entrance, and the scene just happened to be photographed by someone nearby.
Bianca felt incredibly dejected. She sat on the steps, not planning to leave yet.
If she didn't see Sean, she was done for tonight!
Kate Fairchild and Gloria would absolutely tear her apart.
Just as she was agonizing over her situation, she saw a car stop in front of her. A woman wearing tight leather clothes got out.
She was holding a document folder.
Bianca stood up in excitement.
"Lane!"
This was the female bodyguard who had taken action at her house last time!
Bianca remembered Lane being incredibly cool. She had admired her greatly at the time.
Lane had taken down those two thugs in just a few moves.
"Miss Fairchild?"
"Lane, what are you doing here?" Bianca asked.
"Mr. Maddox asked me to retrieve an important document for him."
"Can you take me to see Mr. Maddox?" Bianca felt like she was clutching at a straw.
"No."
"Lane, we met last time. Mr. Maddox and I are friends, otherwise he wouldn't have gone to my house or saved me. I'm begging you, please take me to see him!"
Lane remained expressionless. Seeing Bianca pleading with her, she recalled the events of that day.
