Isabella’s eyes lit up. She thought Dylan was about to vent his anger on her behalf.
To her surprise, he picked up his cell phone and made a call.
"Hello, 911? Someone fell down over here. send an ambulance..."
"Dylan!" Isabella shouted in anger upon hearing this.
Elena, standing to the side, couldn't stop grinning.
"Isabella, is there something wrong with calling someone to take you to the hospital?" Dylan asked.
"Dylan, she pushed me! Why aren't you doing anything about it?" That was the point!
"Did you push her?" Dylan asked Elena.
"No, I didn't want to get my hands dirty," Elena said with an innocent look.
Dylan shrugged and turned to Isabella. "She said she didn't."
"Just because she says she didn't makes it true? Dylan, how can you be so blind right now? You only believe her!" Isabella asked furiously.
"Elena is my fiancée. If I don't believe her, who should I believe?"
After speaking, Dylan looked at Elena gently. "What other vegetables do you need? Tell me, I'll help you."
"I want that, and that, and some celery over there too!"
"Okay!" Dylan said softly, his face full of affection.
He actually went into the vegetable patch, rolled up his sleeves to reveal his well-defined hands, and personally picked vegetables for Elena.
The dignified CEO, the precious heir of the Sinclair family, was actually picking vegetables!
If Isabella hadn't seen it with her own eyes, she wouldn't have believed it.
She and Dylan had grown up together, and she knew him very well.
In the past, even if he cared about her, his expression was always indifferent.
To others, he was even more unapproachable, cold as an iceberg.
The look he just gave Elena was simply too doting and too gentle.
It was so gentle it seemed like water could drip from his eyes. It was something she had never possessed.
