Claire had been terrified watching Elena fight. She had no idea Elena possessed such skills.
"I'm fine. I'll call Justin to come pick you up."
When Justin heard Claire had been rescued, he was overjoyed. He rushed over, embraced her tightly, and took her home.
"You should go back too," Elena said to Logan.
"Boss, will you... will you be okay alone?"
"Don't worry. I've been through worse. Sirius's target is me; Michelle is useless to him aside from being leverage."
"Alright. Let me know the moment you have news."
Logan left. It was already two in the morning.
When Logan returned to the villa, he wiped his neck. He had been grazed during the fight. Just as he was about to go to his room to clean it up, Theresa came downstairs.
"Where have you been messing around in the middle of the night?"
Logan gave a lazy, crooked smile. "Worried about me?"
"Who cares about you? I'm just worried you did something illegal that might drag me down. Running around at all hours..."
Theresa paused, looking him over. She noticed the wound on his neck.
"Did you get into a fight?"
"Yeah, slight accident."
"You're useless. You act so arrogant usually, but you get beaten up like this? Guess you're not that tough after all."
Logan stayed silent. *Princess, that was Sirius.* A top-tier former member of the Moon Organization. His men were battle-hardened elites. He and the Boss had given it everything they had. An ordinary person wouldn't have even known how they died.
"Why aren't you talking? You're just a thug. Stop causing trouble, or I'll tell my dad!" Theresa continued.
"Relax. I won't drag you into anything."
Logan went into his room to shower.
Theresa fumed at his indifferent attitude.
