Seeing this, Theresa walked in boldly.
"Morning, everyone!" she said with a smile.
Everyone thought they were hallucinating and stared at her.
"Theresa, weren't you fired yesterday? Why did you come to work?"
"Did you forget to take something?"
Theresa smiled. "No, I'm here to work today."
"You were fired, and you're still working?" Rachel glanced at her.
"Ms. Ward, I haven't finished organizing yesterday's sales data for you. I'll continue!"
Theresa walked to the front and took the documents.
She started working as if nothing had happened!
No one understood what was going on.
However, work was busy, so they didn't pay too much attention to the matter.
It wasn't until nearly noon that news came.
Mr. Cooper had been fired!
"Oh my god, Mr. Cooper has been with the company for ten years, and he got fired!"
"What is going on? Why was Mr. Cooper fired instead of Theresa?"
"I saw Mr. Cooper looking so smug yesterday, and today he's gone!"
For a moment, everyone looked at Theresa.
"Theresa, did you know about Mr. Cooper leaving in advance? Did you do it?"
Theresa shook her head. "It wasn't me! It was a decision from above. I just found out too."
"Theresa, do you have some connections? Look, you got Mr. Cooper out!"
"I don't have connections," Theresa said honestly.
She was the connection; she didn't need anyone else.
"I guess so. If Theresa had connections, why would she come to the sales department? Sales is the most tiring department, and she's just a small clerk. Maybe the issue blew up, and the higher-ups had no choice but to fire Mr. Cooper!"
