Feeling desperate, Darryl looked at Selina in silence. "Selina, I didn't collude with the bandits, and I also didn't drug Mandy. Sandra also knows what happened. You can ask her if you don't believe me."
Selina pursed her lips and did not respond.
Sheniqua sneered and said, "What a joke. Sandra is a disciple of the Heavenly Dragon Sect. How would she know you well? Why would she testify for you?"
Darryl ignored her, and he was still looking at Selina. "Plus, your disease is called the Bloody Scales Disease, and I can heal you from it!"
'Huh?'
Immediately, Selina became startled, and the rest looked at Darryl in shock.
'What did he say? He can heal Young Miss' disease?'
"You—" Selina collected her thoughts, and she stared at Darryl with perplexity. "What did you say? You can heal me?"
Darryl nodded seriously!
Sheniqua said with contempt, "Stop the bullsh*t. The entire Hidden Dragon Town knows you're a gambler. There's nothing else you can do aside from gambling. If you can heal people from their diseases, no one in that world would ever be sick."
Then, she said mockingly, "I'm curious, where did you learn your medical skills?"
Immediately, everyone looked at Darryl with suspicions.
Darryl smiled. "Three years ago, I met a strange man who was a cultivator, and he taught me some medical skills."
'Huh?' Initially, Sheniqua was startled, then she laughed disdainfully.
The rest were also in a state of disbelief.
"Strange man? A cultivator? Did you make that up?"
"I'm pretty sure it's all nonsense!"
Then, she collected his thoughts and said, "Young Miss, Derrick must have made that up. He wanted to divert our attention from the conversation. We must not believe in anything he says."
"Selina!" Darryl took out the Sword Plum Grass he plucked the night before, seeing the shift in her facial expression as if she was slightly convinced. "The Bloody Scales Disease has a nemesis in the form of the Sword Plum Glass. With this, you will be healed in no time."
'What?' Everyone, including Selina and the people around, was shocked. They stared blankly at Darryl, and they were at a loss for words.
'The Sword Plum Grass sounds so magical.'
A few seconds later, Sheniqua could not help but cover her mouth as she laughed while everyone else also looked at Darryl with contempt.
"Interesting, he is getting more and more nonsensical!"
"Yes. Doctor Yondu is a medical expert, and even he could not heal Young Miss. Darryl only learned a little from a cultivator, and now he's saying he can heal Young Miss. How funny!"
"Exaggerated false claims! I think he's hopeless!"
The people mocked him, and even Jonathan could not help but scoff.
Jonathan said disdainfully, "Derrick, you're the Stanford family's son-in-law, but you sound so ridiculous right now. I know about the Young Miss' disease. I've looked into many medical books and tried countless ways, but nothing worked. You've only learned a few tactics from a cultivator, and now you're claiming that you can treat diseases. Aren't you ashamed?"
