Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 4431

"Do you think that scares me?"

Debra's expression remained utterly unperturbed, even as Yooda charged toward her. She let out a roar as she met his attacks. A fierce battle broke out between the two in mid-air in no time.

"Debra!"

Chester could not help but call out in concern. "The Fiend Martyr's incredibly powerful. Please be careful." At the same time, Chester's gaze was concerned and worried.

He had fought with Yooda, so he knew what he could do.

However, Debra looked fearless as she replied lightly, "Don't worry, Brother Chester."

Then, Debra summoned her internal energy to cast the ultimate Hidden Hero Sect move. All at once, an overwhelming aura burst forth and enveloped the atmosphere.

Ever since she became the Hidden Hero Sect's sect master, Debra had spent all her time focusing on acquiring all the sect's ultimate skills. She had become impossibly powerful.

Both figures zipped and soared through the air. Debra seemed light as a feather, moving with ease and grace as she dipped in and out of sight. She had even managed to dodge Yooda's multiple attacks. That was how strong she was.

However, Yooda had been a Fiend Martyr for almost 10,000 years, and at the end of it all, Debra was still hardly a match for him.

Slowly, Debra began to slow down due to Yooda's increasing force. Panic began to spread across her exquisite features.

That Fiend Martyr was terrifyingly powerful.

If that went on, the situation would turn against her by the second.

What should she do?

Everyone below, including Chester and the rest, who were watching the battle, said a silent prayer on Debra's behalf as they began to grow anxious.

That would not do.

If only Darryl were there. Even if he could not defeat Yooda, he would have a way to bring everyone out of danger.

……

Meanwhile, in a cave.

It was unclear how long had passed when Darryl opened his eyes slowly, feeling incomparably carefree.

A few hours of cultivation later, Darryl could feel the weakness on his body had vanished, and in its place was an all-consuming strength!

The sudden inquiry caught Darryl completely off-guard as his expression was one of absolute embarrassment. "Have you regained your powers?"

At the terrified look on his face, Queenie let out a chuckle. "My powers aren't very strong, so it doesn't take long to restore them."

Queenie had an unreadable expression on her face as she continued to ask, "Brother-in-law. You once made a bet with my master that you'd make her your wife if you were to be king. Did that really happen?"

Uhh…

Darryl scratched his head. "Yes."

Queenie's eyes sparkled with emotion as she said, "If this had been in the past, I'd have been mad on Cousin Lily's behalf. But I've thought it through, you know? You're the Nine Mainland's hero, someone with a higher status than most of us. It's only normal that you have multiple women in your life, right?"

Darryl was torn between amusement and mild annoyance. "What goes on in that head of yours, you silly girl?"

Queenie smirked, not saying anything further. She stood up and stretched. "I'm getting a little hungry. I think I'm going to get some food. Watch after my master for me, won't you?"

Then, Queenie strode out of the Five Delusions Formation quickly.

Indeed, Queenie was not actually hungry. She was only trying to give the two some alone time.
