'Stupid!' Darryl cursed secretly and pointed at the Red-ringed Centipede on Sergio's hand. "This thing is extremely venomous. Let it go now and don't get hurt."
He studied medicine under the guidance of Divine Farmer. With a single look, he knew the Red-ringed Centipede was venomous.
'It's venomous?' Sergio was baffled.
"Dude, do you know what this is? It's the Red-ringed Centipede. It may look big but it's not venomous," he scoffed.
"Dart, you've never studied medicine, so you wouldn't know what it is. Sergio's right; the bug's size is scary, but there's nothing to worry about," Yolanda said to Darryl.
She thought Darryl was making a fuss.
"Yolanda, he knows nothing about medicine. Why bother explaining anything to him?" Sergio said to Yolanda impatiently.
To him, Darryl was merely a liar. Aside from some good luck, he was completely incapable.
'Haha. I don't know anything? My master was the Medicine Ancestor Divine Farmer. You have no right talk to me about medicine.' Darryl burst into laughter.
As he thought to himself, he did not want to bother Sergio.
Then, Darryl grinned at Yolanda and said, "You're right. This is the Red-ringed Centipede, but they are usually light green on their abdomens. That's because they are active in humid areas and absorb the cold from underground."
He pointed at the insect and said, "This one has a reddish-brown abdomen and shell. It's clear it wasn't born in the wild but it's been reared by humans. Plus the monastery is not a conducive environment for Red-ringed Centipedes. It's a bit suspicious such a big one like this suddenly appears out of nowhere."
His statements were logical and indisputable.
Then, he placed the Red-ringed Centipede back into the bamboo basket, planning to give it to his master to formulate the elixir after saving him.
However, before Sergio put the Red-ringed Centipede back into the basket, the centipede bent its long body and spurted some venom from its tail onto his face.
"Ah!" Sergio shouted and swung off the Red-ringed Centipede as if he was electrocuted.
He held his face as he fell to the ground and his body kept shaking.
Shocked, Yolanda rushed over to him and tried to help him back to his feet. "Sergio!"
However, when she saw Sergio's face, she turned pale and her eyes were filled with panic and fear. She saw that Sergio's face had turned reddish-brown from the venom, which was terrifying.
