Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 4344

Darryl remembered that after the Five Poison Sect had been wiped out, its Sect Master, Kendall Jones, had disappeared too.

Then, Darryl asked Yolanda urgently, "Are you sure the people from the Maple Division come from the Five Poison Sect?"

Kendall Jones might have been a beautiful, charming woman, but she also had a cruel heart. If she had gone to the Great East, a great storm might be heading in its direction.

Yolanda bit her lip uncertainly at the intense look on Darryl's face. "I'm not too sure either. That's just what I heard from others."

Darryl fell silent.

F*ck! If Kendall was behind that, there was no way he was leaving the Great East.

"Group Sister!"

Sergio, who had been quiet the entire time, piped up impatiently. "It's getting late. Let's hurry to the Maple Division to save our master before it's too late."

Sergio cast a glance at Darryl as he spoke in a strange tone. "Don't forget about your master just because you've made new friends."

Yolanda's face flushed red in embarrassment.

Darryl took a deep breath. He had made up his mind. He turned to Yolanda and said, "Our encounter must have been one of fate, Yolanda. Since your master has been kidnapped, I shall go to the Maple Division with you. Who knows, I might even be able to help."

Darryl did not wish to meddle in affairs that were not his own. However, that had to do with the Five Poison Sect, and there was no way he could just stand by and watch.

After all, the Five Poison Sect had been Skylar Blanc's firm supporters under Kendall's lead. On top of that, they had also let out the ancient poisonous centipede that had wreaked great havoc in the world, infecting many innocent civilians. Thus, Darryl could not stand by and watch that happen.

What?

'The b*stard wanted to come to the Maple Division with us?'

Sergio's frown deepened. His face was wrought with displeasure.

The b*stard was not trying to help. All he wanted was a chance to get close to his group sister.

"Wonderful!"

Yolanda was more than happy, crying out as she clutched Darryl's hand. "Are you going to help us save our master? You're so nice, Dart."

Darryl's indifference to Sergio finally angered him.

Sergio caught Darryl by the collar and spoke in a threatening tone. "Listen up! Do you think you can get away with pretending not to hear me? I'm warning you, stay away from us."

Sergio pointed at the gold coin on the ground. "How dare a scruffy nobody like you even think yourself worthy of getting close to my group sister? Look in the mirror before you act. This is the last time I'm warning you. Take the gold coin, and get out of our way."

Darryl smiled wordlessly at the look of outrage on the man's face.

"Group Brother!"

Yolanda could not take it any longer and shoved Sergio away in a displeased manner. "What's with you? Brother Dart's a great man. He helped chase those wolves away. He's nothing like what you're making him out to be!"

Yolanda's face flushed a bashful red. She was frustrated.

Her group brother was a nuisance, constantly trying to pick on Dart.

Sergio blinked awkwardly at his group sister's fury. His tone turned gentle in an instant. "Don't be angry, Group Sister. I'm doing this for your own good. You know how dangerous the world can be."
