How could he tolerate being disrespected by a nobody? He was the famed Sword Sect's head elder!
As the words rang through the air, Linson drew his longsword and charged it in Darryl's direction!
The other elders summoned their internal energy as well, clutching their longswords and attacking in Darryl's direction.
'So, this is happening!'
When the six elders attacked simultaneously, Darryl could not help but sigh to himself. He clutched his longsword to meet the attacks and launched into a fierce battle with the six elders.
If someone came across that sight, they would have the shock of their lives.
Someone powerful enough to make all six of the Sword Sect elders attack them simultaneously was definitely a force to be reckoned with.
Darryl whipped his longsword into the air like a flying dragon, zipping through and in between the six elders. The elders were highly skilled swordsmen, but they could barely touch him at all.
Indeed, Darryl was using the Celestial Swordsmanship.
However, he had been battling for quite a while and ran non-stop for a few hours. The Red Lotus Fayette energy incorporated into his body was almost entirely used up.
That would not do.
Darryl's speed fell behind slowly as the panic in his heart grew as well.
F*ck!
At the same time, Linson and the other elders grew desperate.
Their combined force was not even enough to defeat one man. The Sword Sect's reputation would be destroyed if that news got out.
Linson and the other elders exchanged glances. They exploded their internal energies to speed up their attacks.
Finally, Linson was able to wound Darryl's shoulder as he was caught off guard. Darryl had let out a dull hum as blood spurted from the wound, instantly dyeing his clothes.
Linson could hardly contain his satisfaction at the sight, letting out a full-bellied laugh. "I suggest you give it up, kid. You're going to lose your life if you keep on fighting."
Initially, Linson did not think much about that. However, when he saw the number of tree trunks increase by the second, he felt that something was amiss. He could see that the tree trunks were arranged haphazardly in a seemingly messy way, but there was a deeper intention to them…
Just as Linson was pondering to himself, Darryl smiled as he teased them. "And here I thought the great Sword Sect had almost a thousand years of history, but its six elders can't even take down a nobody like me! I don't think you should go back, honestly. Best if you live in hiding from now on, lest you bring shame to the Sword Sect!"
"I'm telling you now—call me Master if you can't take me down today!"
As the words rang through the air, Darryl zipped into the formation he had built with the tree trunks.
Indeed, Darryl had just laid down the Wood Formation. It looked simple but had its own intricacies.
"How dare you!"
Linson could hardly contain his anger. He roared, "How dare you be so disrespectful?"
At the same time, the other elders were beyond angry as well.
The Sword Sect's six elders were highly esteemed and well-respected. How could they let a mere nobody talk down to them like that?
