As the Sword Sect's Sect Master, Jedidiah was an expert in swordsmanship. He had an obsession when it was about learning different sword techniques. When he witnessed Darryl's power in sword skills, he immediately wanted to possess it.
"Sect Master, let me take him down!"
One of the elders snapped back to his senses. His eyes darkened as he drew his sword, ascended from the ground, and charged toward Darryl.
"Don't be hasty!"
Jedidiah was shocked as he called out, "We don't know anything about that man, and his sword techniques are ridiculously good. You should not be careless."
Then, Jedidiah ordered the rest of the Elders. "All of you! Attack him at once."
Jedidiah would not care too much about a mere unnamed man if it were in the past. However, after his fight with Darryl, he knew that the man with markings on his face was not an ordinary man.
"Yes, Sect Master!"
The other five elders hummed in response as they drew their swords and surrounded Darryl.
The six elders channeled their internal energy and lit the sky up with a massive beam as if it would explode soon!
The six elders were the guardians of the altar, and their abilities were naturally excellent. After years of training in isolation, their abilities had improved. After they combined their abilities, the power was unimaginable.
"Holy Sword Formation!"
As their figures glowed in synchronization, the six elders called out, forming a sword formation mid-air and surrounding Darryl within it.
Six swords danced in the air, emitting beams with blood-curdling lights. The swords' apparitions combined, forming one colossal shade. Like a huge thunderbolt, it flew straight toward Darryl!
Holy Sword Formation?
Khloris, who was paralyzed inside the room, shivered with fear as she felt for Darryl.
Jedidiah, the six elders, and Khloris were stunned as they observed Darryl closely.
Was he even human?
The Holy Sword Formation was the Sword Sect's strongest formation. Only Sword Sect disciples could possess it.
Jedidiah nearly lost his mind as he called out to the six elders. "Take him down alive! Don't kill him!"
Jedidiah's previous urge to kill Darryl had vanished after he witnessed Darryl's sword technique.
If they were to kill him, they would never get to learn the sword technique.
The six elders looked at each other and charged toward Darryl once again.
