Beautiful. Absolutely stunning.
As if a lotus rising out of a freshwater pond.
Darryl realized that his judgment was false—Khloris had never left the room, she was just taking a shower!
Darryl did not expect a secret door inside Khloris's room. That secret door led to Khloris' bathroom and her training space.
What great timing! Darryl had arrived when Khloris was taking a shower—fate must be playing some stupid games with him.
Darryl was stunned beyond words. He scanned Khloris from head to toe, taking in the beautiful scene before him.
Khloris' had such an enticing body, especially when half-obscured. Any men who witnessed that would not be able to control themselves.
Khloris' eyes were still shut at that moment.
She had been in that room for many years, so she had familiarized herself with every corner of the room. Even with her eyes closed, she managed to dodge all the obstructions!
However, she had no idea there was someone else in the room with her.
Khloris finally walked toward her bed while drying her hair with a towel, slowly opening her eyes.
Khloris was shocked when she saw Darryl—her mind blanked.
"Argh!" Khloris yelled a few seconds later.
Crap!
Her scream had pulled Darryl back to reality as he finally snapped back to his senses.
How would he clear his name?
Khloris was the Deputy Sect Master, and she was high above everyone else with that position. Some even looked at her as a Goddess. Of course, she would be furious when a strange man saw her curves.
However, her body was truly something else!
Darryl thought to himself and gulped. Then, he grinned and said, attempting to comfort Khloris, "Deputy, this is a misunderstanding. I'm here at this hour to bid you farewell. I had no idea that you were taking a shower—"
Darryl had spoken so dejectedly.
Darryl was fortunate to have dodged in time, or the sword would have pierced him.
Khloris was consumed with raw anger when Darryl dodged her strike successfully. She quickly calmed down and dressed when Darryl was still busy catching his breath.
Khloris glared at Darryl with bloodshot eyes.
The air inside the room shifted.
"Deputy Sect Master!"
Darryl chuckled bitterly as he tried to explain again. "This is truly a mistake!"
"Nonsense! Die!"
Khloris had no intention of hearing him out. She called out as she raised her palm and charged intensely at Darryl.
Darryl sighed resignedly and had no other choice than to strike back.
The two shadows danced in the room, emitting an intense and powerful aura, twisting the air surrounding them.
