Everyone, including Jedidiah, Khloris, and the elders, were shocked, especially Jedidiah. He hurried to his feet and said angrily, "Who did that?"
Diego was the most talented, impressive, and favorite among many of Jedidiah's disciples. How could he not be angry when his beloved disciple got injured?
At that moment, Olive stood there in shock. 'Diego is the most powerful disciple in the Sword Sect. No one could bring him down. Who beat him up?'
Without hesitation, the disciple pointed at Olive and said angrily, "It was her. She brought the monster. We're not sure what witchcraft he used, but he threw Diego back and caused him to pass out."
When the red radiance flashed from Darryl's body, the disciples did not know what was happening. Moreover, Darryl had no internal energy at all. Under those circumstances, those disciples decided Darryl was a monster.
'He had no internal energy but was capable of knocking someone out. What else could he be if not a monster?' the disciple thought.
Olive shivered slightly as she glared at the disciple. She was baffled and her eyes flicked with disbelief. 'Dart? Dart beat up Diego? That's impossible. That's absolutely impossible. Dart couldn't even stand on his feet and had no internal energy at all. How could he fight Diego?'
As Olive was lost in thought, Jedidiah came to his senses and glared at the disciple as he questioned her, "Olive, what's going on? Who is this man that you've brought here?"
Diego was Jedidiah's beloved disciple and he had plans to make him the next Sect Master. Should anything happen to Diego, Jedidiah's years of effort of teaching him would go to waste.
At that point in time, the elders glared at Olive. 'This stupid girl brought an outsider and injured Diego. The audacity! According to the sect rules, she could be banished from the Sword Sect.'
"I…" Facing Jedidiah's fury, Olive panicked and almost could not speak.
Khloris got onto her feet and said as she glanced around her, "Enough! Let's go outside and take a look."
Immediately, she marched out of the main hall with Olive following closely behind. Meanwhile, Jedidiah took in a deep breath as he hurried to follow them.
At the plaza, everyone was shocked by what they saw. Diego was on the ground with a pale face and his clothes covered in blood. His eyes were closed and they were uncertain if he was alive or dead.
A few disciples stood around Diego, panicked and terrified.
A man with red hair was about a dozen meters away from them, seated quietly in a wooden cart. He looked weak, but his eyes were blazing. What was even stranger was the man's face and arms were covered in red marks. He looked weird to the people around him. It was Darryl.
