No one in the entire Nine Mainland could treat Darryl's condition. The blood lotus mark was of the Red Lotus Fayette from the Godly Region. No one in The Nine Mainland had heard of that. Even the Divine Farmer had no way around it.
However, he did not have the heart to reject Olive's enthusiasm.
Without a word, Olive pushed Darryl up the mountain. The mountain was steep and it was laborious for her to push the wooden cart. After more than an hour, they had finally arrived at the plaza in front of the sect.
At that point in time, two disciples were patrolling the plaza. A few of them gathered around when they saw Olive pushing Darryl.
"Olive? How could you bring someone up the mountain? Don't you know the rules?"
"Oh! This guy looks horrible."
"Who is this? Why is his hair red?"
The disciples questioned Olive as they observed Darryl. They were perplexed, like how the mountain people were, as if they had seen a monster.
'D*mn. Do you think I'm a monkey?' Darryl was displeased with the gaze of the few disciples, but he held himself back because of Olive.
Olive lowered her head and said timidly, "This man is from the Gaia Continent and his name is Dart. He suffered an accident and became like this. I found him severely injured by the road and so I brought him back."
As she spoke, her eyes flickered with sincerity and tension. Though Olive had joined the Sword Sect as a child, her peers had never included her because of the birthmark on her face. Over time, she developed an inferiority complex and never dared to speak to her peers.
'Huh? Found him by the road?' The disciples were stunned and confused.
Then, the leading disciple said impatiently, "Olive, what were you thinking? Outsiders are prohibited near the altar. Why did you bring him here?"
Immediately, the other disciples followed suit and criticized her.
"Thank you, group brothers!" Olive was overjoyed and quickly nodded.
Then, she turned around and said to Darryl gently, "Dart, wait for me here. I'll report to the Sect Master and I'll be back soon."
Darryl nodded. The disciples' attitudes enraged Darryl and he wished he could just leave that place immediately. However, Olive had taken good care of him and he did not want to disappoint her.
Olive then scurried into the mall, and immediately, the disciples surrounded Darryl.
The leader of the disciples watched Darryl with unkind eyes. "Who are you? Did you think Olive is a silly girl and talked her into bringing you to the altar of the Sword Sect?"
"You'd better be honest, or else." The other disciples glared at Darryl fiercely.
'Fools!' In that situation, Darryl remained calm as he pointed at his mouth and shook his head, hinting that he could not speak.
