At that moment, Colori Phoenix's shadow appeared in his heart as he looked at the Mountain Wood Formation before him. It was magnificent.
However, Darryl's expression was deadpan.
"Oliver!"
Morticia looked back from the Mountain Wood Formation and asked Oliver, "What is this place? Why are there so many wooden stakes and stones lying around here?"
Even though Morticia was one of the twelve Fiend Martyrs with a great position and powerful talents, she had zero knowledge of formations. She had no idea that the wooden stakes and stones before her were actually a powerful formation.
Oliver scratched his head in confusion. He could not figure out what those wooden stakes and stones were supposed to do.
Even so, he pretended to be confident and answered Morticia in confidence in an attempt to impress Morticia. "Honorable Fiend Martyr, those are where the White Tiger Tribe warriors train, so those wooden stakes and stones must be one of the tools they train with."
Oliver said as he stared into the Mountain Wood Formation, "But we can't really see what's going on in there as those wooden stakes and stones are obscuring our view. Please allow me to lead the vanguards and clean that mess up before we proceed in and have a look around."
His eyes were filled with unwillingness.
Oliver thought there must be something hidden inside those stakes and stones. There might even be demons in there. He would be able to contribute if he managed to find something.
Morticia lifted her eyebrows and paused for a moment before she nodded and said, "Sure, let's do that. I'll give you 5000 warriors."
Then, she let Oliver lead those 5000 warriors.
Oliver was ecstatic. He proudly waved and ordered the warriors, "Follow me! Let's clean up those wooden stakes and stones."
"Wait!"
Oliver was about to wheel himself in when Darryl appeared out of nowhere to stop him.
"Darryl!"
He turned to Morticia and said, "Honorable Fiend Martyr, Darryl had tried time and time again to interrupt us. I'm guessing he has something to do with why the demons evacuated. He definitely knows the secret behind those wood stakes and stones."
Morticia appeared doubtful when she heard that. hSe looked at Darryl and asked, "Is that right?"
Morticia had grown increasingly suspicious of Darryl after his many attempts at interrupting their actions.
Darryl exhaled nonchalantly and chuckled. "Honorable Fiend Martyr, I'm just pointing it out based on my own experience. I genuinely think it's dangerous and bear no other intention."
Morticia still seemed suspicious of his response, but she was sick of it. "Are you absolutely sure that those stakes and stones are safe?"
"Do not worry, Honorable Fiend Martyr."
Oliver said as he patted his chest confidently, "It's just stakes and stone. How dangerous could it be? I'll be sure to inspect them thoroughly."
Oliver raised his hand and gestured for the fiend race warriors to charge into the Mountain Wood Formation.
