"Oliver!" Leia's brows furrowed. "Why do you look so pleased?"
At the question, Oliver did not bother to hide the truth anymore. A sinister smile crept over his face. "For how steadfast and careful you are, you still slipped up. I've got some news for you—the Black Tortoise Soul Restoration Pill you just took was infused with Essence of Delusion!
"I don't know if you were aware, but the Black Tortoise Soul Restoration Pill loses a great deal of its effects once it comes into contact with Essence of Delusion."
What? The Essence of Delusion?
Leia's expression dropped immediately. The strength that was supposed to restore in her body did not return at all. Instead, heat surged through her.
Her head began to spin, morphing her vision.
That was one of the effects of the Essence of Delusion.
Leia had never consumed Essence of Delusion before, but she knew enough to be able to tell what it would do to a person.
"Oliver, you—"
Leia was furious, and her eyes were blazing. She roared at Oliver, "Why would you do that?"
"Why?"
Oliver smiled, staring intently at Leia as his gaze grew sinister. "Why? Because I like you! I like you so much that I am willing to do anything for you, but you only had eyes for that Darryl Darby.
"I'll tell you now that I have no plans on saving him. I did not want to do that, Leia, but you left me no choice with the way you treated me before."
"You—"
Leia was about to go blind with fury. She opened her mouth to retaliate. Yet, at the first word, the heat coursing through her body seemed to rise violently.
Leia bit her tongue, trying to clear her head. She glowered at Oliver. "My father won't forgive you for this, Oliver!"
Leia's struggle did not discourage Oliver. Instead, it only spurred him on further.
He reached out for Leia once again!
Oliver was much faster that time, and Leia did not manage to dodge him. He grasped her wrist firmly.
Oliver came closer slowly, sniffing her with a drunken expression. "You've always smelled so good, Leia. But you stopped letting me get close to you after you grew up. I can't believe that you smell even better now, after all those years!"
"Get away from me, you shameless man!"
Leia was filled with unspeakable disgust at his words, boiling with fury as she struggled away from him. "Let go of me!" Yet she had no strength in her body, so how could she free herself?
Oliver's glee only grew at Leia's anger, summoning a protective shield around the two of them to block the sound. His smile widened. "You can scream all you want, Leia. We're surrounded by my men. No one's coming to get you. Just give in to me!"
Oliver pounced, moving to tear Leia's clothes off her.
