It was evident that Darryl had purposely made Mona go to the river with him. This further enraged Mona the more she thought about it. She stretched out her hand and pinched Darryl hard on the waist.
Darryl hissed in pain as he lost his balance and almost fell.
"Miss Mona, why did you pinch me?" he said.
Mona pursed her lips tightly and glared at Darryl. "You b*stard. You lied to me and took advantage of me. You're lucky that I didn't kill you."
As she spoke, she saw General Grunt leading thousands of Grand Weapon and generals towards them, surrounding her and Darryl.
General Grunt was full of pride. He first took a look at the demons and then at Mona.
"Are you all the demons?" he asked coldly.
The demons and the Godly Region were at war a few thousand years ago. Though Ancient Ancestor showed up and resolved the tension between the two, General Grunt still disliked the demons as they were extremely brutal when they attacked the Imperial Sky Palace.
Sensing General Grunt's cruelty, the demons stared at each other, quietly activating their energy, and prepared to fight at any time. The demons were hot-tempered and they were unhappy when they saw General Grunt speaking unkindly.
Mona fearlessly glared at General Grunt. "That's right. We're the demons. Plus, I'm not afraid to let you know that my father is the White Tiger King."
As she mentioned her father, her face was full of pride.
'The White Tiger King's daughter?' At first, General Grunt was startled and then put on a polite smile. "You're the daughter of the White Tiger King! Haha! I'm so sorry!"
He then stepped forward and asked hurriedly, "In that case, is your territory just around the corner?"
General Grunt nodded and looked solemn. "Yes. Archfiend Antigonus had risen tens of thousands of his people from the dead. The energy was terrifying and the Godly Region will face its biggest catastrophe in thousands of years."
As he spoke, he took a deep breath and added, "I know the demons never interfere with others, but the situation is rather critical. If the Imperial Sky Palace ever gets destroyed and if the Godly Region falls into chaos, the demons can't remain alone, right?"
Mona was left with no words and nodded. "Okay. I'll bring you to my father."
'Great.' General Grunt was pleased when she agreed and turned to Darryl. "What… What happened? Did you guys run into the fiend race?"
As a matter of fact, he hated Darryl to the core and he would certainly recognize him. However, Darryl was in bad shape. He looked like any other person dressed in tattered clothes with a broken leg and his face wiped with mud. Moreover, General Grunt thought he would certainly die after plotting against him at the Sealed Fiend Mountain, so he had not recognized him.
'Huh?' Mona was baffled by General Grunt's question.
