Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 4060

Mona pulled too hard and Darryl felt a biting pain in his leg. He was sweating and forced a smile. "Miss Mona, please slow down."

"You're so troublesome," Mona mumbled and slowed down.

They had arrived at the river quickly.

Mona urged coldly, "Go get some water. You better be quick. Everyone is waiting for you."

As she spoke, she scorned him, but at the same time, she was relieved that she had finally brought the useless man to the river.

Then, Darryl chuckled and he looked terrible. "Miss Mona, I need you another favor."

"What is it?" Mona said coldly.

Darryl scratched his head and smiled cunningly. "I can't bend down in my current state and I can't reach the water. I need you to help me scoop some water."

'Help you scoop some water?' Mona scowled and deep down, she was conflicted. However, she kept quiet and looked around. "There's nothing here. What should I use to scoop water for you?"

Darryl pointed at her hands. "That's easy. Just use your hands and then feed me."

As he spoke, he wiped off the sweat on his forehead and urged, "Quick, Miss Mona. I'm almost dying of thirst."

Mona trembled and her eyes were filled with rage. 'This guy is getting more ridiculous. I had to help him to the river, and now I need to feed him with my hands? How dare you even think it?'

At the same time, the demons stared at Darryl as they murmured among themselves.

"How dare he."

"How dare he ask Miss Mona to feed him water with her hands…"

"How dare he tease Miss Mona? He's dead…"

However, Mona pouted and said impatiently, "Cut the crap. Now that you've drunk water, it's time we continue our journey."

"Alright." Darryl chuckled and continued walking with Mona's help.

However, they heard footsteps from the forest nearby and they sounded intense.

Everyone, including Mona and the demons, was startled and became nervous.

'How did the fiend race warriors catch up so quickly?'

However, soon after, Mona had calmed down. She realized that the people who were surrounding her were holding tree branches and even if the fiend race warriors were there, they would not have noticed them. She then rushed towards the forest.

At the same time, Darryl lifted his head and looked. He saw thousands of men charging out from the forest at high speed.
