"Out of here! All of you!"
Archfiend Antigonus brought forward a terrifying wave of energy with a wave of his hand. It materialized into a tornado of blood, hurtling toward the crowd.
"Argh!"
The blood tornado moved like lightning. The soldiers at the front could barely react before they were swept up in the blink of an eye, their cries ringing through the air. A few thousand soldiers fell from the air, collapsing in a pool of their blood.
What?!
Even Grunt and Master Magaera could not help their sharp gasps at the scene before them!
That was how terrifying the Archfiend's power was.
It was genuinely bone-chilling. He had wiped out thousands of soldiers without barely lifting a finger.
Master Magaera's gaze darkened. The aura of battle that surrounded him thickened.
"Archfiend!"
Master Magaera quickly came to his senses with a loud roar. "You've got me for company today. You can forget about reviving those fiends." A wave of divine energy burst from him as he charged toward Archfiend Antigonus like a bullet.
Archfiend Antigonus merely smirked at his words. "Haven't I defeated you before? You've got some nerve, talking to me like that."
Master Magaera's face was scarlet with humiliation as the rage in his heart caught ablaze.
"Let me help you, Master."
Grant's eyes flashed, taking in the situation before he cried out. With the long spear in hand, he charged toward Archfiend Antigonus.
Grunt knew that his powers were no match to Archfiend Antigonus. He would hardly be able to take even one blow. Yet, that was an excellent chance to show off, and he was not going to let it go.
Grunt had thought it through. As long as there was Master Magaera, Archfiend Antigonus would not target him. All he had to do was look as if he was about to come to aid.
Master Magaera and Grunt had gained momentum as time passed, joining forces to cast a bright golden sphere of light that they sent hurtling in the Archfiend Antigonus' direction. Archfiend Antigonus had been sent backward a considerable distance with a dull hum.
However, Archfiend Antigonus regained his balance, but fatigue shone on his prideful face.
The look on Grunt's face was of incomparable glee. He cackled at Archfiend Antigonus. "Is that all the great Archfiend Antigonus has got?"
Grunt was nothing if not cunning, and he often preyed on his opponents' psyche to gain in on them. Once Archfiend Antigonus lost his temper, he would slip, and his performance would become flawed.
Master Magaera stared at Archfiend Antigonus dead in the eye as well. "Give it up, Antigonus. You've lost."
Archfiend Antigonus' eyes shone wickedly. He laughed out loud toward the heavens.
"You thought I'd have lost all my energy on the blood formation, and now you'd have a chance to win, haven't you?
"You thought wrong. The Blood Sacrifice of Fiends is about to end. My subordinates and soldiers are about to rise again!"
