It was supposed to be Darryl and Princess Dorothy's wedding day, but the Nine Heaven Emperor was not delighted about it. He had never liked Darryl. It was only for reputation's sake that he agreed to marry Princess Dorothy to Darryl. How would he be excited about the wedding?

Empress Heidi, seated next to him, could not hide the joy on her face. Unlike the Nine Heaven Emperor, she was excited and pleased about her daughter's wedding. "This is so great!"

She then noticed the Nine Heaven Emperor looking unhappy and comforted him, "Your Majesty, you should be happy for our daughter instead of feeling frustrated."

After that, a maid scurried into the room, looking flustered. "Oh no. Oh no…"

The maid was panting and sweating a lot.
