Skylar had not been captured, and now there was the ancient poisonous centipede to deal with.

Things were looking worse by the second.

"You here, the few of you!"

A thought seemed to come to Chester. He turned to order the people around him, "Send people to all the major Sects asking for help immediately. Inform them in detail of what happened. Oh, and send for the Senior Divine Farmer's presence. Hurry, now."

The Senior Divine Farmer had not come along with Chester and Ambrose's army to the Five Poison Sect. Instead they had let him stay behind, with Zhu Bajie and Chang Er at the Carters.

Since Darryl wasn't here, all hope to conquer the ancient poisonous centipede was now on the Senior Divine Farmer.

After all, the Senior Divine Farmer did have the title of the Medicine Ancestor. He might know of a way to conquer the ancient poisonous centipede.

"Alright!"

Having received the command, the disciples of the Carter household hurried off to act on them.

Chester, Ambrose and everyone else stayed on the hill to keep track of the centipede's every movement.

Skylar soared through the air in a circle. Upon making sure no one was following him, he returned to the Five Poison Sect.

"Sect Master!"

As soon as he landed, he was greeted with the sight of a rapidly approaching Kendall. Expectation was written all over her face. "How did it go?"

The truth was, the task of clearing out the ancient poisonous centipede had actually been Kendall's responsibility. The only problem was that the ancient poisonous centipede was far too powerful, and Kendall would have not been capable of luring it to the canyon. This was why Skylar had to take on her task.

At the inquiry, Skylar smiled. "It was a success. The ancient poisonous centipede had not only held the Heavenly Alliance back at the canyon, but also the Carters."

"As of right now the canyon has been completely enveloped in the poisonous fog comma and it's now considered dangerous territory. No one will be able to pass through it for a while."

Kendall seemed very satisfied with the response she had gotten. A thought came to her. "Sect Master, I heard Darryl Darby has gone to the Godly Region in search of glazed water. It's apparently to cure Dax Sanders and Neil Wilson of the Soul-devouring Bloodworms they had gotten infested with."

As she spoke, Kendall attempted at testing the waters. "We should take down the Carters while Darryl Darby isn't here."

Taking the life of Darryl, as well as that of the Carters, had been Kendall's ultimate wish. She had not forgotten it, not for a single second.

The day before, Grunt had received the news that Skylar might be at the Five Poison Sect. At the time, Grunt had sent Cayden to ambush the Five Poison Sect with an army. He, on the other hand, would make use of the opportunity to return to the Godly Region to pass Princess Dorothy his letter.

To Grunt's annoyance, the armor holding the letter had gone missing, and thus the letter was nowhere to be found as well.

And so Grunt thought to himself: 'Fine. Since I can't find the wretched letter, I'll confess to Princess Dorothy personally. After sorting this out only will I look into the case of my stolen armor.'

Grunt moved swiftly, passing around the Imperial Sky Palace and hurrying towards the Jade Fairyland.

The sight that greeted him when he arrived, however, made Grunt frown.

What was going on?

All he could see was that the entire Jade Fairyland had been decked out, as if in celebration of something. Red silk lined every entrance, and the walls were filled with wedding decorations. The place was bustling with servants, the picture of a grand occasion.

Confused, Grunt entered the Jade Fairyland.

"Honored General!"

Upon arriving at the Princess' chambers, Grunt was greeted by the servants busying themselves nearby.

Frowning, he asked them, "What's going on at the Fairyland? Why is it all decked out?"
