Half a day later, Skylar brought 72 boys and girls to the secret room. The children panicked, and their cries kept echoing through the Five Poison Sect's main altar. Debra, who was in the garden next door, started to frown when she heard the screams.
'That's weird. What exactly is Skylar planning to do? He has been so secretive ever since he returned from the Ghost World. Why would he need so many kids?' she wondered.
Then, Skylar slowly walked to the garden. "Debra! How are you? Is the scenery here to your liking?" he asked with a smile.
Debra gave him a curt nod and then asked, "Skylar, why did you bring so many kids here?"
'Uh…' Skylar's expression showed a hint of complexity, and he said unnaturally, "Oh, those kids? I'm not sure, but I think they're the Five Poison Sect's new recruits. They are very young, but let's not meddle in the Five Poison Sect's matter."
The Devil Sealed Mirror needed to be soaked in the blood of 72 virgin boys and girls before Archfiend Antigonus could be released. He did not wish for Debra to find out he was doing something so bloody. However, the more Skylar tried to hide the fact, the more curious Debra became.
Night came in the blink of an eye.
After a few seconds, Debra calmed down. She surveyed her surroundings and instantly became shocked again; she saw a mountain of corpses in the corner. Each of the bodies had only skin and bones left; it was obvious that blood had been drained out of them. It was the boys and girls who were sent there during the day.
Debra's brain began to buzz, and her legs weakened as fear gripped her heart. 'What the hell is going on here? That is too cruel! They're just kids.'
Suddenly, the sound of dull breathing came from the blood pool, and then, the Archfiend Antigonus' face appeared on the Devil Sealed Mirror. Immediately, his eyes locked onto Debra.
