Suddenly, a Sect Master came forward and said to Lord Kenny Bred, "Your Majesty, you claimed the ancient tomb coming to life is Janson's tomb and belongs to the New World Royals. Do you have any proof of this?"
The crowd became agitated.
"Show us the evidence."
"If you can't show it, don't stop us."
"We came all the way here and you're trying to chase us out with just a few words?"
Everyone shouted and the commander of the royal armies lost his patience. He grunted and glared at everyone. "How dare you speak to His Majesty this way?"
He then pulled out a long saber. "Whoever steps near the ancient tomb will die a tragic death."
Clang!
Then, the other royal soldiers also pulled out their long sabers and they looked murderous. The elites from each sect looked at the soldiers in fear. Both parties were at a standstill in that split moment.
Suddenly, the sound of footsteps came from afar and a group of people was seen walking towards them. It was the Carter family and Darryl was taking the lead.
His voice was heard throughout the Imperial Mausoleum and it was without a doubt.
Darryl chuckled and remained silent. He then took a glance at the surroundings to see if Skylar was around. It turned out that Skylar was nowhere to be found.
At that moment, Darryl was doubtful and wondered. Skylar was always present in crowded places like that. It was odd that he was not present that day. As he wondered to himself, he saw Yvette walking towards the entrance of the Imperial Mausoleum. However, she was stopped by the royal armies after taking a few steps forward.
Lord Kenny Bred scowled and said, "Yvette, are you challenging royalty?"
"Lord Kenny, stop threatening me. No one else has the right to enter the Imperial Mausoleum, but me. Don't forget, I'm Princess Yvette," Yvette answered, unafraid.
