Dax did not join the Heavenly Alliance celebration banquet, so he had seen Skylar yet.

'It's them!' A jolt went through Debra when she saw Skylar and Kendall. She was a whole mixed bag of feelings about it. 'What is Kendall doing with Skylar?'

Dax could not help but ask, "What's wrong?'

Debra exhaled softly and said, "Nothing's wrong. I'm just curious as to why Kendall is here. Two days ago, she stopped Darryl and me while we were on our way back from Heavenly Alliance's celebration banquet. She said she wanted to avenge her sister. But in the end, Darryl taught her a lesson."

'Something like that happened, and I did not know about it?' Dax thought while scratching his head.

"The man beside her is called Skylar Blanc. He's the head of a secluded sect. I would say he's both evil and good. The fact that they're together is very suspicious," Debra said.

Dax's eyes widened. "Are you saying that they have something to do with Darryl's capture?"

Debra nodded and said, "That would be my guess. Let's go ask them about it."

Her eyes were filled with panic. Darryl humiliated Skylar when they bumped into each other at the antique street, and Kendall wanted to kill Darryl to avenge her sister. In other words, they had their own motives.

Dax's tone made Skylar frown. "Who is that?" he asked Kendall.

"That is Dax Sanders, the Flower Mountain's sect master, and the Sky Breaking Axe's owner. He's very strong, so we should be careful around him," Kendall answered softly. There was fear in her eyes as she said that.

Darryl and his two sworn brothers had quite a reputation in the Gaia Continent. Dax was known for his hot temper as countless crooks had first-hand experience of it. More importantly, he had the Sky Breaking Axe.

'Very strong?' Skylar scoffed and sized Dax up. 'But he's only at the Elevation level.'
