As she said that, the elders responded.
"She's right. If we wait until the Heavenly Alliance has taken over all of the Nine Mainland, it'll be too late!"
"Yes. When that happens, they'll find us sooner or later. By then, the Hidden Hero Sect will not have anywhere to hide."
"Instead of sitting around waiting for death, we should plan ahead."
Agatha nodded. "Since everyone agrees, starting from tomorrow, the Hidden Hero Sect will step into the world of cultivators. Oh, and arrange a meeting with Darryl."
"Yes, Sect Master!" Several elders responded in unison.
…
At the Carter family.
Darryl, Chester, Dax, and all the women sat there in the hall. They were leisurely sipping tea, and the atmosphere was indescribably warm. Many good things had happened, one after another. Darryl had returned unharmed from the Godly Region, and he also brought Jewel back from the Heavenly Alliance safely. For a while, the entire Carter family was in a joyful mood.
"Young Master!" Just then, the butler hurried over to Darryl and respectfully said, "The King of the Dead's envoy is here asking for you!"
The King of the Dead's envoy?
Darryl frowned and nodded. "Let him in!"
The butler acknowledged that and went out quickly.
A short while later, a man in black robes walked into the hall; he had a gloomy and cold aura. It was Kaine, the diplomat sent by Ileana.
"Greetings, gentlemen!" When he reached the hall, Kaine clasped his hands and bowed toward Chester and the rest of them.
After reading the letter, Darryl's face darkened as he asked Kaine, "What else did she say?"
Kaine thought for a moment before he said, "Her Majesty asked me to convey to Your Excellency that the matter of Archfiend is not trivial. Furthermore, it's most likely not an empty threat. Perhaps he does have subordinates outside of the Ghost World.
"Her Majesty hopes that Your Excellency could send someone to scout the Nine Mainland. See if you could find the whereabouts of those subordinates."
Darryl nodded. "Alright, I understand."
"That's all for the message. I shall take my leave now." Kaine stood up, bowed to Darryl, and turned to leave.
D*mn it!
Right after Kaine left, Darryl sat down on the chair in his study. His face was full of contempt. He had no idea what Archfiend's subordinates looked like. He had no idea what they could do. How was he supposed to find them?
