Perfect Husband, The Destined One novel Chapter 3775

Darryl was rather calm after being confronted by the girl.

"This man went against great power and is committing a robbery. Doesn't he deserve this?" As he spoke, he realized how much power the girl possessed and was shocked.

She was at the late stage of Heaven Ascension. How could a girl below the age of 20 possess greater power than Dax did? He was only at the middle stage of Heaven Ascension.

The girl turned and scowled at Salvador’s men. "Great! All of you escaped while I was fast asleep and even committed robbery? I guess a leopard can’t change its spots."

Sensing her wrath, the men trembled in fear and got down on their knees to beg for mercy.

"We won’t do it anymore."

"Miss Veron, please forgive us."

Their faces turned pale and it seemed they were terrified of the girl to the core. The girl was named Veron Lange, and she had defeated Salvador and his men.

Debra and Jewel, who watched from the side, were amused. It was a rare scene to see Salvador’s ferocious-looking men trembling at the woman's feet.

Veron then glared at them and said, "We’ll talk when we get back."

Then, a young lady came forward and hurriedly asked Veron, "Miss, how did Salvador die?"

The girl was in her twenties, wore a pastel maxi dress, and looked attractive and charismatic. She was a Level Five Martial King and had fairly strong powers. Her name was Rophe Morgan and she was Veron's personal maid.

For many years, the situation in The Nine Mainland had its ups and downs, and many new groups of pirates had established themselves along the Donghai City coastline. Those pirates had robbed merchant ships, oppressed the civilians and tormented fishermen. However, about a month ago, Veron showed up and defeated the pirates. She brutally forced the pirates to become her slaves. No one knew where she came from or from whom she learned her skills. All they knew was that she had great powers and had a maid named Rophe.

Veron sighed softly out of relief and said with her chin lifted, "It was him."

She pointed at Darryl. Everyone, including Rophe and the pirates, turned and stared at Darryl. 'How dare that man kill Miss Lange's slave?'
