Garuda seemed unaffected by her anger. He took a few steps forward and looked at her with a half-smile. "Red Sparrow, do you know that most of your subordinates had pledged their allegiance to the White Tiger King after seeing you falling into the abyss?"
Upon hearing that, a jolt went through the Queen's body, and she was stunned. She was angry and could not help but blame herself. That was all her fault. She had underestimated her enemy.
Just as she was blaming herself, Garuda said coldly, "Red Sparrow, all of that happened because you were too arrogant. Let me tell you how you can save the Flying Feathers Alliance. You'll have to pass me the Power of Bird Ancestor, and I guarantee the Alliance will rise even stronger under my leadership!"
Queen Sparrow's body jerked a little, and she stared daggers at him. "How dare you, Garuda! You have crossed the line!"
She was beyond mad! She had never thought that the loyal Garuda would do something so evil. He knew that she would be crippled without the Power of Bird Ancestor.
"Cross the line?" Garuda threw his head back in laughter. His eyes were filled with evil and disdain. "Red Sparrow, I admit, as one of the four innate beasts, your power is way stronger than mine but have you forgotten how you got to your position? It was because of my support, and I have always been loyal to you, but how did you repay me?
"You valued Phoenix and Peacock more than me, and when anything good happens, they're always the first one you think about! This time is no different. In your heart, I'm only good for staying back at the headquarters!"
He became more and more agitated, and there was a maniacal glint in his eyes.
He raised his right hand, and a golden saber appeared in his hand. The two comrades beside him summoned their weapons too. In an instant, they were all engaged in a fight for death. Under normal circumstances, the three of them would not be her match at all, but the White Tiger King had severely injured her, so the Queen found it difficult to hold her ground.
Soon, she was suppressed, and things seemed to be looking bad for her.
Meanwhile, Darryl slowed his footstep after running for a few minutes. 'Hmm, that's odd.'
